I made an impressive amount of mistakes in this run, but I think they were largely made up for by the fact that I managed to skip Amatsu's first tornado sequence entirely ; in general I had a lot of trouble doing this quest, not really sure why, but really choked a lot.
Hazard Amatsu has the highest amount of HP of any non-afflicted monster in the game, sitting at max 117,000 HP. This makes it extremely tanky, since there is no source of bonus damage on it in this quest.
There's a high probability that the reason why Hazard Amatsu wasn't released is because it simply wasn't finished, because aside from having a ton of HP, there is absolutely nothing different with Hazard Amatsu.
It's simply an endurance quest against a quite bulky Amatsu that's also extremely resistant to KO and other statuses.
Sub 8 is probably possible, if I get the same luck of skipping a tornado sequence and stop doing so many mistakes ; but I'll settle with this okay run, since there are still a couple of good plays there. A lot of my latest videos have been with Hammer, it's mainly because I appreciate the weapon a lot lately especially Strength with the introduction of Blood Awakening.
I'm forcing myself a little to do more Sunbreak content, even though I covered basically absolutely everything this game has to offer and made over 300 videos for it. I lose subscribers every time I post a Splatoon video, it's like I'm prohibited from posting anything else than Monster Hunter, lol

It doesnt matter what kind of content Lynn is uploading besides monster hunter and basically this channel covered everything in the game and i see no problem when something new gets uploaded
Unfortunate that Hazard Amatsu wasn't finished in time, would've been really cool. Sorry to hear that splat content is ending up being kinda punishing, a shame youtube is so bitchy about channels trying to expand their content or spreading out their upload schedules.

It's just tankier and hits harder. You can just nerf your defense and damage for the same experience

2:40 how does that wirebugging up work? when I try it the second wirebug up pull just kinda pulls me forward not more up. is mod? or trick?

There's a third button to zip in the camera facing direction. On controller, it's the right trigger. So you just look up and do that.

I never said I was not enjoying Sunbreak anymore (I have one more video coming soon). I simply feel like after more than 300 videos on the game, I covered pretty much everything I wanted.
