I literally have it in either my or my wife's truck all the time! Change the water in the flask every few days and swap it out between the vehicles as needed! Thanks!

Is there an additional second sling to make it secure, like the Hazard 4 Plan B ?

No actually there isn't. It generally sits pretty low on the back and it's small enough that it doesn't move around much.
