I ain't had no one or they only feel like it when they want In my life. my mom died when I was 13 and my dad some days can't even look in my eyes because I have my mother's eyes. but still I kept my head on straight and outa crime I done had friends rob stores and get hooked on drugs. I'm 19 now and yes 17 is tuff as long you carry yourself with a high chin and in your mental say fuck what people think about you and handle your dreams to come a firefighter legitly people are going to respect you forshure I mean two firefighters died I'm my hometown Kansas City the other day and there held as hero's world wide now. sayn tho dude just get high school over with that shit sucks and every one worried about the wrong shit in there trust me I know I hardly talked to any of them. you will graduate and feel real good trust me then it's only up from there and love will get tuff of course but better. and girls will definitely come and go as you please once they out of school and become mature it just takes time. stay strong, wish you the best.
