This is truly the most beautiful version of this I have ever heard ANYONE sing. there are several other versions here on You Tube by the worlds greatest ever singers some of the others are fantastic but Hayley's version is the nearest thing to human voice perfection I have ever heard. Listen to the others and hear for yourself, but you will keep coming back to this one.

I know nothing of the classic song, but her voice sounds splendid in comparison with other singers versions of this style ... for my taste ... just beautiful, she and her voice!

I love her true pitch, pure tone, and hardly any vibrato (my personal preference). Plus, there's a sweetness in all her work that is also very appealing. She rocks!

this song could not be performed to any higher degree than hers. every note effortlessly and precisely performed, no weakness high or low. it could not be a more comforting yet moving sound and delivery. i held by breathe thruout the song as to have nothing interfering with listening to the sound. it seems she holds all the notes and sounds inside just waiting to be heard and she just lets them out in the most graceful and precise manner. i have listened to about 30 perform this song, and hers is in its own class. Her pie jesu is breathtaking as well!

I watched this performance live, on an afernoon TV prog about 4 yrs ago. She was eighteen at the time. Her mother was in the studio, and about to go home to New Zealand and leave her beautiful talented daughter on her own for the first time. Hayley said she'll have do her own washing and ironing now etc. a lovely natural unspoilt girl, despite all her fame and fortune.
