I don't know what I love more about this, the fact that we get to hear Hayley just doing some incredible singing as always, or the fact that this guy probably practiced that in his room for hours upon hours and actually got to play it while Hayley herself was singing with him. No autotunes, no computers' overly edited sounds, just pure vocals and a simple acoustic guitar on a live camera. She's a purely talented singer and one of the best. Just look at how happy and excited she is while singing.

The smile on his face while just listening to Hayley’s voice and playing is a feeling I know so well. I have been playing guitar since last October and every time it’s just me and my teacher playing while hearing her sing is jsut one of the greatest feelings that I can’t really explain. Kinda of like a sudden cure. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to play in front of Hayley. I would get nervous and flunk it lol

There's some subtle stuff going on from her perspective too. Live musicians have to rely on each other a lot more to be ready for transition moments and this guy wasn't missing a single beat in that respect. You catch her looking for little details that help carry the tune with the guitar, and she gets into the song more for his efforts there. Cool video to watch, she looked like she was having a great time and that dude looked like he was really happy to know the song lmao

I missed out on Paramore as a teenager, being a hard-headed dude who didn't really feel like listening to pop punk "mAdE fOr GiRlS" or whatever but goddamn, she's such a great singer and Paramore really were an essential part of the genre. Glad I came to appreciate them and get my head out of my own ass

You got me curious with your statement: "not a great person". What were the reasons that she wrote for her to not like her bandamtes? (i don't know about the album). Were those legitimate reasons? The record label wanted to just sign her, that’s literally not her fault. She was just like 13 or 14. Yet she still made sure the whole band got signed, they’re lucky she didn’t just go with what the label wanted and went solo.

I always LOVE IT when amazing talent is given to simple, humble people who don't let stardom go to their heads. 30,000 people cheering you at a festival one day, next day singing on a corner with a busker in front of 4 people and a cell phone. There are literally dozens of entire Bible verses in Proverbs and The Gospels which encourage us all to be like that. God Bless you, Hayley!

I just realized, almost 2 years after watching it for the first time, the other two dudes aren't just some random french guys... They're Taylor and Jeremy... I feel stupid. (Don;t you guys think it's kind of cute that Jeremy is taping it?)

Why the hell did youtube just give me this video now, 9 years later? It is incredible how one can sing so naturally in the midst of so many treble. Even more incredible is she stop in the street to sing for someone to play. How many singers did you see doing that? 2019 and I still love Hayley for it. In 2013 I went to a Paramore show in Brazil where a fan tried to jump over the safety grid. One of the security guards at the event began to hold the girl tight and shout at her. Hayley stopped the show, started the security check and said "no one treats a fan of mine like that, get the man out of here" and invited the girl up on stage and sing with her. Hayley is a simply amazing person!

Paramore was my first ever concert when I was 14, and now I'm 24 ✨🔥 I miss my teenage years...

I'm only 16 and just found out about paramore. I wish i was a teenager ten years ago when this kind of music ruled the industry

It was amazing. A lot of the best songs were played on the radio. Everyone knew who these talented singers were. I’d love for this era of music to come back.

Nobody giving goddamn props to the guitar player. Like how awesome is that he brought that shit, and to just play it in front of the person who is in the actual band is awesome it must feel incredible. She was smiling because she was impressed. And they instantly had chemistry it was awesome. This is what musicians look like. It’s not about the singer, it’s not about the guitar player, it’s about the song
