    People project their "subconscious" dreams on them. VIPs embody things which people are longing for. But as an Opera Singer I can say that most stage people have a lot of issues, all the same as we unknown people have. Being on stage mostly means that VIPs also "play" their own dreams in roles but that doesn't mean they have this in their privat life. Of course not all but most of artists have these issues. And there are even a lot of artists on this world who do a lot of amazing work but they aren't famous. Film and theatre industry is really hard and no fun if you look at the details Backstage. A lot of power abuse and so on.

    Why is it so wrong in the society if the woman is much much older than her man? But it's so acceptable if the man is older than his woman even more than 20 years older

    It's Never Not Wrong, if the age gap is inappropriate (but I feel we all already know that...) ...And within' legal age, the answer is it isn't only acceptable for Older guys. Older women can date and be with younger men As Well. 💁‍♀️ You can't judge who someone falls for... It's their own interest. Also, FYI, I'm not talking about casual hooking up sex. I'm speaking on genuine Realistic Relationships with the two!

    Love this movie....it reminds me of another time and place when i was that 40 year old woman seeing a 30 year old musician. We certainly did not have the love story depicted here, but it was intense and meaningful in its own way. I remember getting teased about the age difference and we'd laugh about it...at that time, though, our lives were heading in 2 different directions so we each moved on. But, i remember it with great fondness....and when people ask me if i could go back to a specific age, i always tell them it would be around 40.

    In Robinne's 2017 The Idea of You book, Solène is 39 and Hayes is 20. In the film, Solène is 40 and Hayes is 24 so instead of a 19 year age gap, there's 16 years between. This film gives hope to single ladies looking for hot young smart wise men with a steady confidence!

    How is the ending in the book

  • @leahmuniz530

    @leahmuniz530

    20 күн бұрын

    @@pnarkocer9651 the ending in the book does not end as optimistic as the film. That was something they changed to give fans more "closure". The book ending completely wrecked me when I read it. First ill add in the book her daughter is younger. im pretty sure she's like 13 or 14 or middle school aged. In the book her daughter is obsessed with the band still and on top of that her favorite guy in the band is Hayes. This is also something the changed in the film. They made solenes daughter an older teen who has moved passed her obsession with the band. And Her favorite guy in the band wasn't Hayes in the film it was rory. similar to the movie solene doesn't really tell anyone about Hayes. Especially her daughter because like I said in the book she is obsessed and thinks she loves him. So solene struggles with telling her because she knows it'll destroy her. In the book it comes off as much more of a betrayal to izzy. So izzy doesn't handle the news of solene dating Hayes as well as she does in the film. they make it seem like she honestly doesn't care they're dating at all. she's more so upset her mom didn't tell her in the movie. But in the book she is crushed when she finds out and doesn't talk to solene for days. When she finally comes around to the thought of it she has to deal with all the stuff they show in the film once the relationship is made public. But basically in the book they break up for similar reasons in the movie but it's much more gutwrenching. One thing they didn't show in the film while her and Hayes were together was solenes constant struggle with wanting to be with Hayes because he makes her happy but knowing in the back of her head they'd never work long term because of the age gap. In the book she constantly thinks about what their future would look like with a 20 year age gap. Ex-if they ever married or wanted to have kids or when Hayes is her age she'd be 60. etc In the book Hayes is only 20 turning 21 and solene turns 41 in the book. So they shortened the age gap by 4 Year in the movie. In the book the first fight they have where she leaves doesn't play put the same way in the book. In the book Hayes friend in the band makes multiple passes at solene to get back at Hayes for sleeping with his sister. This is a huge thing in the book and tbh I don't remember if him dedicating the song to her was an act the band had did before or not. So she never gets upset with him over that. Similar to in the film she realizes how hard it's actually been on izzy and everyone else around her because of the attention the media is bringing to the situation. And izzy having to deal with all the bs at school is her driving force for ending it because like I said she's younger in the book so she still has to go all through high school and college like that. Hayes legit begs her not to end things and doesn't understand or accept why they can't make it work. When he shows up at her house after the initial break up in the book its to plead for her to change her mind. they spend one more night to together similar to what they do in the movie and he continues to beg for her to fight for their love insisting they'd make it work despite the age gap. while he's at her house his phone keeps blowing up and when she asks why he tells her he quit the band so they could be together because he looks at it like his "celebrity persona" is the root of why they won't work. She gets upset when she finds out he quit because she looks at it as him throwing away his life and everything he's worked for over something she doesn't think will work in the long run. Now in the books they exchange I love yous way before they ever break up. So when Hayes is pleading with her not to end things one final time because they love each other she ends up saying "maybe she didn't love him she loved the idea of him." They throw that line into the first break up they have when in the book it happened in their final break up and in the movie it didn't hold the same weight it did in the book AT ALL. Like that is the line in the book that completely wrecks Hayes when she ends the relationship closed the door on him. he says that he doesn't believe her and that's she's just saying it to push him away for good. But she insists and basically shuts the door on him. The very last page of the book talks about how Hayes would text text her sometimes multiple times a day to reach out and say he still loved her a missed her for months or maybe even years. But she never ever responds back because she believed this was the only way. The very last line in the book legit was like eventually one day they stopped. But long before she ever stopped loving him 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔 every fan of the book absolutely hated the ending because it was just so sad and they never really got any closure. The film ending kinda leaves it open for the fans to interpret it however they want. But kinda insinuates that they probably end up getting back together and making it work. So the film ending was nice because it gave book fans rhe closure we all probably wanted. But the whole 5 year thing never happens in the book. Like if I remember correctly I think Hayes does suggest them taking a break and giving izzy time to get through school and what not but like I said Im the books she's younger so it's a much longer time frame before that would ever happen Which is why solene just says it wouldn't have been realistically possible.

    Anne Hathaway and Nicholas seem so natural, down to earth and genuinely GOOD people. I was a professional golfer and was friends with several of the touring pros. Professional golfers are like other athletes and let's face it celebrities like movie stars. They hare just like you and me with their own hangups and issues. The only difference between them and "normal" people is that they are extremely talented and driven with one particular skill; whether it be acting, sports, theater, etc. The only difference between them and others is that they've figured out how to win, how to reach to top of their profession. If one takes a good look at OJ Simpson for example, now there was a head case, if there ever was one, who was extremely talented at football and intelligent. There are other celebrities who actually have their heads on straight. No different than everyone else in society. What I found so interesting in this movie was how vicious and cruel so many people were at one celebrity's happiness. Talk about who's screwed up. The fans had worse issues than the celebrities.

    Film allegro , divertente, solare , gli attori funzionano molto bene insieme , c'è feeling e non è sempre scontato avvenga , la storia apparentemente leggera ma in realtà affronta temi molto intensi, la differenza di età tra una donna più matura ed un uomo giovane che fa ancora scalpore , il piacere di una donna che anche se mamma non per questo deve essere relegata e fissa a quel ruolo ed internet che se usato male può fare danni immensi . Anche io adoro dei gruppi ma non mi interessa la loro vita privata , per me possono avere 10 mogli, 5 cani , 2 amanti...problemi loro . Il finale mi piace perche , come dice una canzone ...certi amori non finiscono , fanno solo dei giri immensi ma ritornano .

    i dunno, i loved a man 11 years different. it wasn’t enough for me, to know myself well enough and to know how hard i would end up working to stay feeling relevant, rather than honouring my journey into older age as an woman and becoming myself.. but maybe others honour different choices.. but he is a dear friend still and he has an awesome woman his own age now. a young man as mature as this hayes appears to be would be a great father i think. anyway, too complex, its hollywood..

    I think it's important to remember the fantasy aspect of this movie. You have two gorgeous and successful people that meet and fall in love. All the passion, tenderness, and heat is inspiring and addicting. If these were two ordinary people, wherein he's really 20 and she's 40the age gap would be daunting to get past. Especially since her daughter is only a few years younger. You'd start throwing around the terms like pedophile or cradrob.

    Extremely amazing movie with sh*t ending..... Seriously tho nowadays half of the celebs marry older females. And see their age gaps. And they're all happy together with kids and all.... This movie made me cringe tbh. Especially the tweets of people. Like come on bruh you're not in the 1670s. You're in 2024 and Survived COVID and still in the middle of the war. Give us a break. Try to change the mentality.... I hate the movie but I really really Love this movie. So Adorable. So Cute..... "That Love which is one of a kind". So Beautiful ❤️

    They were both so hot and good to look at in the movie. It could’ve had more depth and substance, instead, it felt like a VERY light movie which is fine. It was airy and breezy 🌸 I’ve never heard of students bashing women for dating younger men. Most students find it hot that a woman would date a guy who’s 12 years younger. Nor have I heard of guys who text girls, the way that Izzy claimed Trevor texted her.
