Love hearing the Vienna Philharmonic, whose home is the finest hall in the world, play in other acoustically wonderful halls such as the one here in Birmingham. I wonder why Sir Simon does not seem to go back and conduct the VPO any more? They did so many wonderful recordings and performances together in the late 90's and early 2000's. Strange they have not invited him back.
