Interesting symphony with the slow movement being the first one. It's a bit jarring just in that the first meeting is in D minor while the rest are in D major, but knowing Haydn this was likely the intent. Thanks for posting this.

More interestingly, in Finale, it's effectively 6/8 the whole way except for bar 54 (18:20) by a single instrument. I tried listening for that sole instance of 8th notes but couldn't hear it. Ps: In general, I wonder if it's orthodox to play the 8th notes like triplets in these cases.

@@dennisdeng3045 3連符であることはこの楽章の最初の小節に書かれており、このスコアでは第2小節に"[sim.]"(="[simile]")と書かれています。括弧書きになっているということは、おそらく原典には書かれていないということだと思われますが。もしそう書かれていた場合、第3小節以降にも"simile"と書く必要があるでしょうか？
