Haydn's GLORIOUS QUARTETS! Fell in love with them about 50 years ago!! Great to have them in easy, accessible form!!!

How beautiful they all are! Thank you for adding a sparkle and a bit of whimsy to a hard day!

With op; 33, Haydn told that he wanted to write "something new". It is quite exciting to search for progresses between these quartets and - say, those of op. 20. We Will realize that these SQs can indeed be considered as the fathers of classical SQs. They inspired the six SQ of Mozart dedicated to Haydn.❤❤❤
