Andrew Garfield was already Spider-Man, and Andrew is like the lame discount version of Hayden. So yeah, Hayden would have been amazing as Spider-Man when he was younger.

He needs a better more mature role for his age. He’s in his late 30s and this role is more suited for early 20s. He’s a good actor from past critical acclaimed movies like Life As A House and Shattered Glass.

Look. I love Natalie Portman as an actress but damn she could pass off as Hayden's mother now, Hayden did not age whatsoever. Natalie always looked like Hayden's little sister in the prequals because she looked really young for her age but I guess the roles have been reversed.

I recall reading (or hearing) that Hayden's family came from Italy, and that was one of the reasons he signed up. Alas that such should be his luck.

His Manager hates him, thank god he is back in Star Wars, hope he joins MCU and just keeps doing franchise films because he’s a great actor who cannot pick good films and directors to work with to save his life.
