This makes me really happy, Anakin was my Luke, i never got why Hayden got so much hate, even after watching OT later on i still think he played a pre suit Vader perfectly, and im so excited to see him again in Kenobi soon.

@Isak Isak - Because they turned Darth Vader, the most legendary movie villain of all time, into an emo/angsty teenager... And as we can see in recent characters (Kylo Ren, Pattinson´s Batman, Superboy, etc.), some people REALLY don´t like that (even when it DOES make sense for the character to be just that). And unfortunately the actors usually get some of the hate.

That was a great moment for Hayden he deserved it.. I actually got teary-eyed for him..he looks pretty happy... Somebody screamed "you're like brothers! really got me...

The generation that Hayden and Ewan impacted finally has a voice. And their voices cry out with love and praise.

I'm so happy for him, long overdue.

Hayden and Ewan complement each other perfectly. A friendship that couldn't be more intense, and has been for 20 years. It all started with Episode 2.

I'm Happy for Hayden Christensen playing Anakin/Vader an seeing the Fans show a lot respect he deserves

You're allowed to say that you don't like the prequels, but the hate Hayden received during those years was too much and unnecessary. I was six years old when I watched the movies for the first time- Anakin, Padme and (Ewan's) Obi-Wan were for me what the original trio was for the older generations.. I grew up with them, and I remember that when I knew about the hate they got my heart broke. The actors, especially Hayden, didn't deserve that. But my generation has grown and we're so ready to give these amazing actors all the love they deserve! I love them and I'm so happy to see them back, it feels like I'm six years old again!

If only Jake Lloyd and Ahmed Best could get a reception like this… those 2 didn’t deserve the hate just cause people don’t like their characters

Hayden was never the issue, I hope he knows that. The critics mostly complained about the fallen hero arc which is a common theme in fantasy, but that had nothing to do with him and he played it well. I even grew out my hair to look like ep 3 Anakin when I was a kid lol. But only because I couldn't grow a beard to look like Obi Wan hahaha

As a dude born in 84. I was in between the orginal and the prequels. I remember not liking episode 1. But I honestly wasn't a big star wars fan back when it came out. I remember not understanding the orginal trilogy from the 70s and thinking it was a bit, campy. It wasn't until later. After I had read Joe Campbell and understood the myth. Now star wars is a bit like my Bible. Hayden did play the role perfect. And for some people star wars will just be some silly space movie. Like people think the matrix was just some tripped out Kung fu. Today is may 27th 2022. Kenobi has been released. And I have two hours till I'm off work. I have never been so stoked on a movie/show ever. The only thing I could want more than this is a series about yoda. Perhaps a younger yoda. Thank you Hayden. And, I'm sorry for what happened to you. I am the same age as Hayden. I remember going to see one of the prequels and having all the theaters sold out and had to go to three different theaters to see the movie. We had to go to see a late showing. There was so many people seeing the prequels.

I wish I could meet human McGregor and Hayden Christianson. As Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. They made a great team I love their sense of humor they were so funny together

I was 13 when I saw ‘Return of the Jedi’ in the movie theater. I actually saw it 6 times. And there was never a moment, after leaving the theater, that I didn’t wonder what woman would have been stupid enough to give Darth Vader two kids? I don’t even think it was clear to me that Luke and Leia were twins. I was very happy when the prequels came out. My question was answered and it was beyond tragic. Because of Hayden Christensen, whenever I have rewatched 4-6, I never think of Vader as ‘Vader’. I think of him as Anakin. Hayden humanized a character that hadn’t shown much in the way of humanity until it was too late. Hayden is Star Wars as far as I’m concerned. 😊

The sequel had a blessing in disguise for you to love the prequels because on how shitty they made it and finally see what George Lucas was trying to point out.

The cycle that Star Wars fans have on these films and actors sucks. I was a kid when the prequels came out and I love them. But adult fans gave the actors nothing but hate. Now the kids who loves the prequels are adults and they’re showing them the love they deserve. But now they’re also hating on the sequel films. In 10-15 years, the sequel actors are going to have their renaissance moment while whatever new trilogy is getting hated on. The cycle just sucks cuz everyone forget that, in the end, Star Wars is for everyone but it’s goal every trilogy is to make NEW young fans.
