The Kitaro sound has been reproduced perfectly. KORG should have shown more that they can make this sound with the 700FS. Is it possible to create this sound just by selecting a waveform and adjusting the filter?

Thank you. Yes, the sound can be produced just by using the filter and waveform. Actually, there are 2 presets on the 700FS that is very similar to the Kitaro sound. Bank A - Tri-lead, or maybe anything triangle related because I am so used to trying to identify the sound 😜. The Hi traveler is usually around 7 - 9 and the low traveler around 4.5 - 6, this is depending on the tone you need to achieve for the intended music, because it can always change depending on the mood of the music. For a thicker sound, the low traveler has to be around 4.5 and vice versa. I believe some EQ is also done post production to being some warmth and detail tones but overall, the 700FS is just as capable to produce the Kitaro Signature Sound. For me, I don't see any different than the 700S, only the LFO depth and rate, VCA has a different value scale to the original, and the digital functions.

As the KORG 700 does not have a Pulse Width Modulation parameterizer, I thought that the reproducibility of the preset waveforms would be the key to synthesizing the KITARIO sound. KITARO himself appeared in a Korg promotional video, but he didn't produce the sound that everyone was expecting, and I think many people thought it would be impossible to reproduce that sound on the Korg 700FS.

@@dikochi690311 I think the prototype or at least the first few productions had an error in the triangle wave oscillator which I believe so. The reviews from Japan dated in July had the similar sound to Kitaro's promotional video. I would highly think that KORG did realised the error, maybe it was by us commenting on the official KZread that they did the re-adjustments. To be honest, when I first received the 700FS, I wasn't expecting the original sound. I am happy that it turned out to have the original sound. Also, from KORG's webpage on the Tri-lead demo, the sound is totally different on my 700FS, the parameters I believe remain the same. You can see my first 700FS demo which reproduce the original sound.

Hayazaki no Hana... is it a melody from a movie's sountrack? i never seen this melody on Kitaro's any album

Yes, it is a movie soundtrack. You can find the link of the song in the description. I believe from the shorts, kitaro himself was part of the film in some of the scenes too.
