I work in the bush and as I'm in the Western Province of BC in Canada we operate on Celsius, temperature wise, we are having highs right now of 32C (87F). Because of fire risk we have to leave the bush when the humidity percentage and temp cross over which is hopefully not before noon. Right now at home down in the valley at 4 pm we have 32C and humidity of 27% (would have started out this morning. in the high thirties, maybe low forties) and the air smells like it is raining somewhere not too far off. ..... Thx for the share ....

Did they have a skeleton elevator running the length of that barn when they were putting up idiot bricks? Seems that barn would not be to bad to put up small squares in with one and a single bale unload NH stack wagon. I liked small squares myself, nice to feed in the winter and not have to start anything, but with fields spread out, Citiot drivers, and limited help, the rounds work out better for me when I am working alone. When my boys and nephews get a bit bigger, we might go back to small squares, they are definitely easier to sell.

Taylor i know you said that alarm noise doesn’t bother you anymore because you are so used to it but having to listen to that would drive me insane but you are a very strong willed young lady and i admire that in you ❤😊
'It's hot and I don't feel like wearing my work boots" Love it. Sometimes, you gotta just do what ever makes you feel comfortable.
Love the grain truck, I used to have a 71 C50. Very hardy. They just don't make them like that anymore. :)

Hi Taylor, just saw the weather forecast for NE United States and Maine calling for heavy rains and flooding. I hope you and Brent are safe.🥺

Hello Taylor thank you for the video you look amazing as usual. Much love from Virginia
On those hot days. I recommend moisture wicking shirts & cooling towels. They do help.

Please wrap a rag around that wiper arm thats missing the wiper. Someone hits "wipe" and youll end up scratched glass😢 Hi from Lower New Hampshire 🐮
Hay Taylor. Love your videos. All of them. I farm in Wi. Yea, we are dry. We farm just like you and Brent do. Older equipment and low key. I raise steers/heifer’s feeder to finish. I’m Brent’s age and farmers don’t quit until Mother Nature tells us too hahahaha. Tell him hello from Wi and we have an I 806. I get the project you are working on. Thanks again. And btw, we make all dry hay, round bales. Your videos are so refreshing and very close to home here in the Midwest. I farm in Buffalo county Wi, jealous of your flat fields😂. Farm on

Hi, so glad to hear that you enjoy watching! Low key farming is the way to go in my opinion!!! Hope ya get some rain soon 😀 thanks so much for sharing, always great to hear from fellow farmers 🚜👍🏻
Just an idea. Carry a bright spray paint or neon tape to wrap somewhere on that bail... Gramp use to dust one tiny spot of the bail with bright orange spray paint... ❤

Great watching you getting the hay in! I appreciated seeing inside that barn!🤠 100 bales a day is a bit of a chore for the weather you've been having! Brent handles those bales really well! I'm sure you would too with more practice. I hope the Int'l gets repaired soon!

Where your used to it maybe doesn't matter. I had a truck with the buzzer going non stop. It's just a little square plastic piece with a little piezo "speaker". Easy to find when it's buzzing, unplug and back to just rumbling engine noise.
@tayfarms

Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to see if I can find that!
Awesome!!!
..... laughing .... that's a good sway coming out of that field loaded ... just hope that is not a low air buzzer .. smilin .... when you said you were in bare feet, my first thought was "if she gets out in the field all the pressure points in the bottom of her feet will be stimulated for sure. ....
I have away put one on the ground (or 2), then 2 above to fill the stack. Nice video!
Hi Taylor, I think it’s great that you start videos with a beautiful view of your girls in the barn. It was a positive day for you and Brent to get all of those bales stacked in you shed. A couple of questions. How long do those round bales last? Does the milk your girls produce go to cheese products or bottled milk? Hope it cools off for you soon and thanks for another great video. 😉

Hi, yes it was a great feeling to have accomplished some dry haying finally! These bales should last us through too late next summer. We feed our girl 3-4 a day. Thanks so much for commenting!
It is wonderful that u have nice hay nice going u beat the rain hope it is not to expensive to fix your tractor love u guys
Brent is definitely a good operator! And I hope it doesn't bother him for me to ask but is it his hips that give him problems, he takes the pain well!!!
@tayfarms
11 ай бұрын
He certainly is! It’s actually his knees but yes he does well!
I wonder if it would be easier to put one down then stack two on top? Just easier to watch the bottom and not worry about hitting the rafters.
Looks like fun, i like the gmc !!!
I work on a micro dairy in MA, and I work for another farmer making hay. We are over a month behind on first cut. We were supposed to be done with first cut the first week of Jun, but we are less than half way done. It has rained sooooo much!

@@tayfarms If we have to cut in October at least it will be a nicer temperature! Stacking square bails on a wagon in 60 degree weather sounds great to me!
theres a buzzer under the dash you can unplug. feel around you feel it vibrating .
Just an idea when it comes to the four-wheeler seat, it's very simple to take that seat off and buy a piece of naugahyde and stretch and staple it to the seat and you don't have to worry about a wet butt anymore!
Good morning Taylor. Looking as good as ever (inspite of the overcast weather😂). Agriculture specially dairy farming is a tough job. 👍🙏😎

It's been terribly wet a couple hours south of you as well. Only done about 200 round bales so far. My fields in Fryeburg along the Saco river are in flood plain. Easily 15 acres underwater for the last 10-12 weeks.
You’re doing a Wonderful Job. Continue.
Unplug that buzzer, that would drive me over the edge in short order. And like I said, get yourself a straw hat for your noggin, it makes all the difference in the world in the sun. Thanks for the look in. Best regards from Indiana.

Nice Videos Tay. I am young man in Missouri that has a dream to buy land and start a small dairy farm. I work in Software for my main income but I am figuring out all the logistics to make this happen. Your videos are a great intro into this work. Thank you.
Great video Taylor
Love watching your videos you and your boss working side-by-side you are highly qualified as a farm worker that is for sure😂😅

They are technically 4 by 4, but usually make the largest setting on our baler which makes it closer to 4 by 5s. Thanks so much for watching!😀😊
Always good videos,, thumbs up 👍
Refreshing to see small farms that have older cows. With the average age of cows of 3-4 years on the large dairies, where they don't live a good life. This is what people need to see..
👍👍👍💐
It looks like those bales would wick up moisture from the ground in your storage barn?
