The forklift is called a Hay Squeeze. Because it squeezes the bottom row of bales before it picks them up! 💪👍

This may be a silly question but doesn't the stacks make the straw catch fire we wouldn't have stacks on UK straw trucks

We dry the hay in the fields before it’s bailed and then it sits after it’s bailed and drugs again

@@jamesjmckamey You didn't answer the question. It didn't say anything about hay drying. The question was do they have trouble with the stacks on those trucks catching the hay on fire. I have seen it happen in Montana, how do they get away with it some of those where pretty close in the video.

@@michaelswartz2126 the trucks can catch fire for the hay being damp and not having time to dry while out in the field that why you don’t want hay bale to get wet

@@jamesjmckamey Sorry I must not have been clear enough when I'm asking about stacks, I don't mean hay stacks, I mean the exhaust pipes on the truck. I have seen where if the exhaust pipes are to close or even just pointed back towards the hay, the hot exhaust can catch the hay on fire. This is one reason I have a long frame 379 peterbilt with the exhaust right behind the cab turned out at a 45 degree angle then probably a 70 inch sleeper between them and my first trailer. I understand about the moisture, I've seen some wet bales get pretty dang hot and black.
