Hawthorne PD recently used Aerodome DFR to respond to a shooting in a residential community which was safely resolved at unparalleled speeds. Detective Judd, the pilot in command of this mission, said, "It's beautiful. With the drone overhead already, all I had to do was turn around and I had an eye on the suspects immediately. All three of them."
The suspects were taken into custody, the attempted murder weapon was retrieved, and the officers and community members were kept safe. A successful drone-as-first-responder mission and job well done by the Hawthorne team.
