@@breaksbabe81What is considered the original emo scene of the early to mid/late 2000's has finished. The people have grown up and moved on. It's a natural progression. The 'emo revival' is just a revival in the image of the original. I'm sorry you weren't there. Social niches are almost gone within our societies, social media eliminated it.

I remember when this video debuted on MTV♥ Casey Calvert, you are deeply missed.
31 years old, war veteran, father, husband... still come back to the "emo" music even though its dead. i grew up on this stuff, it's the best and i cant believe it died out. Wont be putting skinny jeans back on anytime soon though.

Emo's not dead. It's in the dark corners still bleeding emotions. You just gotta look for it. There are lots of bands, especially Hawthorne Heights, that are still producing solid EMO tunes.

RIP Casey 2024 such a great voice. I’ll always love Hawthorn Heights ❤
I first heard this song when it came preloaded in the Sony USB mp3 player. Fell in love with this song after finding it after so many years.

its weird how a band like this that no one really knew much about had such a strong cult following. these guys really helped a lot of people, i have listened to a lot of people during my younger years and i honestly think these guys alone helped get me through a lot of shit. looking back on my teenage years the 4 bands that come to mind were A7X, taking back sunday, H.H., and nirvana

I love them-they got me through a lot of stuff when I was younger and still now
this shit seriously helped me get through alot of stuff, as cheesy as that sounds .......
This is a excellent song, congratulations Hawthorne Heights

@@silver_cloudxyz6500 for sure, imagine losing someone in your band when they literally die, thats so scarring on your life in any way, then having people complain that something changed with the sound of the band and not even consider how it affected the band personally. People are so shitty.
this is so beautiful. and i'm not even suicidal or having any problem right now. i just suddenly remembered this song and looked it up here and i never realised that this song is just beautiful.
Never imagined this song would have such a low count on KZread. Truly shocked!
First song without Casey! To this day it’s still sad! I had a ticket to the show in Detroit the next day before the horrible news. 😢

They're still the best band to ever play. I remember mostly everyone in my high school would hate on Hawthrone Heights for absolutely no reason, but I'd be a emo'd out with t shirts, jamming this album loud AF on my way to school when i finally got my firdt beater of a car. Now all those same people acting like they've been life long HH fans from the start. For me, Hawthorne Heights for life!!!!
2024😔 finally found this song.. from my walkman MP3 player device..
i'm literally 13 years old again ahhhhhh the memories!!!!!
His voice just got better and better . It was kinda soft and shy and progressed to really powerful over the years. Always loved this band...

Just Breathe The Midnight air will do you well Believe I miss your taste, I miss your smell The past mistakes that brought you here I'll break the fall for you my dear I'll ask the nurse for bandages And send me on my way Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Every other day I sit and wait for the same bad news Can you hear me say I've got nothing left to lose Someone please start making sense And beg the lord for accidents I've seen the worst case scenario Slowly letting go Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish I could breathe

Can't wait to see these guys next Thursday.
I miss music like this!!! I also miss music videos like this too.
Album is 14 years old today!
When I was 9 I saw ben 10 alien swarm. Now, when I was trying to look for the theme song for it and I found it, but I also found this as it was also apparently in the movie. I may not remember much from the movie, but this sure feels familiar.

The one snippet of this song in Ben 10: Alien Swarm, and song grew on me.
I distinctly remember this video coming on MTV in the morning when I was getting ready one day in College and there was a scroll of live comments at the bottom and someone said they're like an old and sad Jonas Brothers. I was filled with a weird mix of anger and laughter.
