We've had a family of hawks living in our back yard for about two weeks now. I'm not sure if these are Cooper's Hawks or Sharp-Shinned. What do you think?

@@ZlPPENHAFT Of course they're not falcons. Falcons have very dark, almost black irises. Hawks have yellow irises, and with age they become orange and even almost red 🙄

@@ZlPPENHAFT Since you know how to google, I think you can find a couple of pictures of peregrine falcons and look at their eye color. You'll also definitely notice the dark cap/mask on their head, which the birds in this video definitely do not have. This is 100% not a peregrine falcon and deep down I hope you're just messing with me. The birds in the video look like juvenile Cooper's hawks. And unlike red-tailed hawks, which are actually buzzards (Buteo), Cooper's hawks are actually hawks (Accipiter).
