The Zero Hour's art isn't from Zero Hour. Does anybody else think the Black Adam film was okay, not awful, but okay. Wish ZH had his katar weapon from the comic too.

The movie is alright. Not great but not bad. It felt like a throwback 90s/00s superhero movie. Especially the very 'Terminator 2' - "eccentric teen teaches hulking brute to uses snarky catchphrases" and constant skateboarding.

The black Adam movie felt like a meh early 00's movie

This is pretty much what I expected the platinums are the worst part of the collector series in my opinion, with every release I hold my breath in anticipation that the plat will be the color I want

Hell yeah Jason I've been wanting this VS for a while now and I've been trying to get this Zero hour figure on Amazon for a while now but it KEEEEEEEEEEPS getting cancelled or delayed. This review is great as always man!! (I really hope Multiverse gives us a comic book Doctor Fate) Also obligatory "Todd should retool and reuse this body mold" comment, seriously though this Zero Hour Hawkman has A GREAT BUILD!!

great review, not sure about this collector series and I don't know much about Hawkman (besides his complete backsory from Dark Nights:Metal) but after reading Dark Nights:Metal again I hope for a Monster Hawkman and Barbatos in the future

There are way too many, I just hope that he completes, as many OG JSA figures as possible. Really want a Wild Cat, Specter, and classic fishnet wearing Black Canary, OH! And a Mr. Miracle and Big Barda, and make Barda atleast 8 1/2, or 9 inches tall.

We've gotten about 2 or 3 Green Arrow figures now and no Black Canary. If she's not a collector's edition that sells out just as fast as Starfire provided she ever comes out - I'll eat my words.

I am looking at getting 2 Black Adam Hawkmen to go with Vultan of Flash Gordon by Necca next year.

I agree and I have both. The movie version maybe lacking articulations but at least it's not a lazy release unlike these so called Collector Edition with an ugly Platinum versions.

I saw the ZH Hawkman at FYE along with Sinestro, the first time seeing them for me (and I left them on the peg because they were $39.99). My first Hawkman was Super Powers back in the day, and I’m not against the Zero Hour version so I’ll probably get that one when I find it for actual retail price. The movie is cool, but too much gold for me. My name isn’t Goldmember, though I do have a gold…never mind. I passed on him when he was in stores. For my Golden Age want, Mr. Wesley Dodds, the Golden Age Sandman is my top of the list want. I hope he would be in more muted colors and full gas mask like his Sandman Mystery Theater run compared to his bright green suit and gold face mask of the true Golden Age. If Todd does give us that version, I’ll be doing a head swap and dying the plastic super quick after purchase.

@@5POAFigureReviews we go in there every time my girlfriend and I go to the mall. Every time I find something I would buy, then set it down when I see it is exorbitantly more money than retail price. The clearance is retail. I did see Eternals figs for $2.99, so I can pick those up for you Jason, if you’d like😝

BTW are you planning on reviewing the deluxe no way home green goblin marvel legends figure already because anyone are keen on you doing a kitbash with the old sandman baf version with some tattered hoodie to give him more of a classical look to an extent my guy will you because I want you to?

I’ve just got the movie version. Never saw the platinum hawkman in person. There is another black adam from McFarlane. It’s the page punchers one with more armor.

Everytime I see this Hawkman, I just want to pull my vastly superior DC Classics Hawkman off the shelf and mess with it. Mattel gave us fully posable wings over a decade ago, why can't Todd?

I would just want to see someone acknowledge that Jose Delgato / Gangbuster existed and I want a fig of him.

For Golden age character I would like them to it's a tie between Dr midnight and guardian

Just as a general figure, I like the movie one best, but Page Punchers is good. I just don't like the proportions. The small head, big hands, and long legs

I have the McFarlane Zero Hour Hawkman and won't be collecting the Platinum Edition because I already have a Hawkman of that color scheme from an earlier release. Also, how disappointing is it that McFarlane continues to make so many mistakes in his figures that we fans have to second-guess him.

Agreed. I have gotten to a point where when I see something new announced I kind of gird up my loins waiting for the other shoe. What corners will be cut this time? Will there be a Platinum? Will it be lazy? Will it be one I'd rather have than the main release? It's frustrating

Agree 👍 movie edition BETTER 😅

Oh God.... I honestly hate all three of these. Either bad QC issues, or just lazy design, or lackluster sculpt issues that really bother me.

The comic version wins for me by default because it's the comic version. No matter how good the movie version may or may not be I still wouldn't buy it because that's no version of Hawkman I've ever seen outside of that one movie, and he wasn't at all accurate to the source material in any way except for his name.

I feel like the basic DNA of Hawkman is in the movie design, but the color scheme is where it breaks down. If the wings were silver and the pants were green with that dark reddish brown and gold for accents I feel like it would have gone down easier. I really did like the helmet though

Wrong
