Reminds me of the double camera setups when i started in FPV.

That's different. While the recorded view is decent. While the FPV view is not horrible, it's as you say," not your first choice. Thank you for taking the time to show the capabilities of this new camera. Thanks' Albert.

Seems ok for a micro long range/cruiser setup...where you'd want to save every gram. Or maybe have a switchable vtx wher you can double check what the recording camera sees. Thanks for checking it out!

sort of like all those caddx, runcam split cameras in the past, but built as an action cam. I was very surprised at the video quality and your response to the latency. Thought it would not be as good as it was. Great review Albert!!!

@@AlbertKimTV I think someone just posted a photo of the no drone sign that was on the campus next to classes and it was blown out of proportion. Ill go back soon to check. Security has been nice to me always when I host.

I like the concept as it would cost down the cost if you had a fleet of droned. Dobyou think if you chaged to HD mode in betaflight, it eould remive the swuish look

Hey Albert, thanks for making this video! I'm starting out in FPV and can either get the Hawkeye for 40 bucks or a Caddx Ratel 2 for 30. Do you think the video-out (what I see in my goggles) of the Hawkeye is that bad that I should rather go with the Ratel, or does the fact that I can record nice footage trump the difference in video-out quality? I am flying fixed wing so the latency shouldn't be an issue. Thanks man!

The goggle view on the Hawkeye is good enough for fixed wing. Not good enough for hard core FPV racing at 150mph though.

if you are gonna use it as a main camera best go with the recording value with the highest frame rate not picture quality

That's how I picture the future of the hobby. Would need a leed for rtx. Move cam from drone to drone. Needs ballistic glass and other tough materials do it survives a crash. Would probably be expensive but you only need one.

@@AlbertKimTV the video format already set to AUTO & hawkeye set to PAL. on BF UART1 there is no VTX (MSP + Displayport, as described on manual).

Do u have tutorial for this cam with Gyorflow? Iam always fail and always vibration
