The picturesque Hawkesbury Junction - known locally as Sutton Stop - was constructed in 1802. One of the busiest canal junctions in the country, this is where the Coventry Canal meets the Oxford Canal in Warwickshire.

The Greyhound is a traditional canal-side pub boasting a beautiful view of the formerly known Hawkesbury Canal junction situated at the end of the Coventry Canal Art Trail.
The Greyhound is a friendly and welcoming pub, that’s packed full of charm and character, with its quirky layout, low ceilings, stone floors, and an array of pub and local paraphernalia. It offers a cosy and relaxed space to enjoy the great selection of cask ales and freshly prepared meals.

Rather you than me around those large shops, but the Pub looked great for a couple of beers in the garden, watching the narrow boats. Thank you for taking us with you. 👍👍

Looked a nice pub, we enjoyed our visit to Ribblehead for the pub. We had a Ploughman's platter for two and struggled to finish. It was gorgeous so I had to LOL

You can't beat a Ploughman's, and mine was very nice. Suzanne also enjoyed her meal, and we both enjoyed the walk afterwards. Shopping..(mmmmm) Well Suzanne enjoys it LOL
I will be walking that canal very soon.
