Good video but please turn the music off !
I have the Hawke, 3 - 9 x 50 Fast Mount scope on my early 1980's .22 Webley Vulcan Springer, the scope hasn't budged at all in the 3+ years it's been on. It's all the scope you'll ever need.
Both are excellent scopes , both have been on my .177 & .22 rifles HWs and also the nikko has been on my .222 Bruno worked perfectly take fox at all ranges last one 240 yards so thumbs up for both .
I use only the Hawke air max series scopes on my HW springers. I'v had two Nikko Stirling scopes and both where destroyed before the tin with pellets was empty. They don,t resist heavy double recoil. The Sterling will work fine on low powered springers, match air rifles and PCP's. I own 8 air max scopes and did not have one single issue with them without using the scope friendly mounts like the Sports Match Dampa mount.
I've ordered a fixed magnification Nikko Stirling 6x 40mm AO which I'm hoping will fit on my .22 chinese B3. With air rifles we're shooting at small targets at fairly close range, within 50m and in my opinion you really want your scope to have an adjustable focus, either an adjustable objective lens or side focus (AO or SF). I'm interested to see what the Nikko is like, I'm not expecting anything amazing for ~£55 including mounts, just hope it doesn't break due to recoil. The B3 isn't full power, so hopefully the scope will be okay.
get rid of the awful music
Thanks for the comparison.
Gr8 scopes for the money can't go wrong 👍
Music spoils the video. No need for it
I got the couple of the hawk 4-12x50 AP IR scopes decent scopes work well on Rim Fires to , bought a nikko 4-12x50 AP for my remington Warhawk today of EBay heard good thinks about them over the years so i thought i give it go for £62. I liked and subcribe by the way.
did those mounts come with the Hawke scope?
I have a mount master, having never used a hawke scope , can hand on heart say the hawke is better.
I got both scopes they are both alright .. you pay for what you get … most of my sights are hawke … they are pretty much come with lifetime warranty but Nikkio Sterling ar relatively good .. not had probs with any of them nout bad to say about them
Hi how has the nikkio sterling scope faired up a few months on, any problems mate.
Shut that music down man
Annoying intrusive music. This is meant to be an informative presentation, not a porn video
Hawke
That was about as interesting as watching paint dry....And a voice to go with it ffs.............
