It was the Japan Village Walk at Ala Moana shopping center. I think they had shut down a while ago. I'm originally from the Big Island. I haven't been to Oahu for years

They shut down because of the pandemic. Lost a kot of $$$ Ala Moana Center (aka: AMC) is the largest outdoor shopping center *in the world*..

I stayed at that exact hotel in 2016. Beautiful beach etc. Enjoy! 🌺

We stayed at the Tapa Tower, which is kinda behind the Rainbow Tower. Pretty sure you’re at the Kalia Tower…that’s the middle one behind the conference center. Hawaii is beautiful! Enjoy your trip! 🌺

I started watching your vlogs because I loved your different travels. The Hawaii video doesn’t hit the same since I’m living/from here 😅especially since I was at that same don quijote last week and Ala moana yesterday lol but I hope you enjoy your vacay. If you are still here I highly recommend you try Asatos sherbet(only open sun and wed), highway inn for Hawaiian food, if you come over the mountain Adela’s for Filipino fusion pasta(soooo good!) any Foodland or Tamara’s for poke bowls. We have lots of great farmers markets especially the kcc one they have a lot of different food booths to try a little bit of everything.

The Japanese underground food court was still there when I went last year in May but I don’t know if it’s still here now.

It was called shirokiya and they closed 🥹 us locals miss it too!
