@sharonjensen3016

Obviously Mr. Kaye is being blackmailed by Wo Fat. Which I believe was happening on the reboot with Wo Fat and Governor Pat Jameson, but the writers never delved into that. In Mr. Kaye's case, maybe Wo Fat threatened to tell interested parties that Kaye was a communist. As for Pat Jameson, maybe Wo Fat knew a secret from her past, such as a teenage pregnancy? Not something anyone in a position of power would want revealed.

Sorry Steve, not this time. It wouldn't be until 1980 that he finally got him. The years 1968 to 1974 or maybe 1975 were the best years of the show. In real life hostile foreign governments have used hostages and political prisoners to get something in exchange for many years and still do. This is indeed a very realistic scene.
Andrew Duggan's wife of 35years Elizabeth Logue was such a perfect beauty. They both lived happily ever after, two beautiful people living beautiful, faithful, scandalfree, adulteryfree lives as beautiful as themselves and she survived him by just one month.
