Hawai’i Shaka Plates Launch KHON2 News

Bryce Moore, KHON2 News tells the story of the launch of Hawai’i Shaka License Plates, a nonprofit support program that is optional for Hawai’i residents. An annual fee is charged with proceeds going to support the nonprofit program Project Shaka, a share aloha through the Shaka movement by ID8, a Honolulu 501C3 nonprofit.

    Pretty cool design. Props to the guy who went through all the trouble to get em. But seems like a shallow gesture by the state. Shaka, while oahu is overrun by outside $$. Goodbye culture, hello, modern diversity!
