Reading Tarot, The Way I LOVE It👑:
Being a tarot reader & an intuitive is not a linear thing. I may not read like a lot of your favorite tarot readers but there’s no right or wrong way to read the tarot as long as you are genuine with your gift. This is exactly what makes it such a beautiful art in this world.
As a theater kid it’s important for me to tell a story as I read, which is why I like to call myself an Intuitive Storyteller (has an amazing ring to it). That’s exactly what the tarot is, a story. Surrounding the fools journey through the major arcana & then the sub-stories of the minors.
I read the tarot in 3’s, the pair cards I pull are like a storyboard or a part of the story revealing itself. You will noticed me a lot of the times pulling 6-9 cards in readings, imagine them being the ‘Plot Diagram’ (the exposition, the conflict, & the resolution) with 3 cards you see where thing have started, another 3 you’ll see the problem that surrounds the querent’s question, & the next 3 are the outcome/guidance. Just remember what I said, this is not a linear process when there’s multiple cards in a spread you can tie together & correct an array of messages that relates to the querent.
To give clarity, yes I do read Tarot/Oracle Cards with “reversals”/“it’s shadow” but I don’t call them reversals. I like to call them the “Alternative”, when you are new to tarot & when you see the cards being in the upside down position (reversed) you are taught it’s the opposite from its upright meaning. When I see a card in its alternative, TO ME the card is being revealed in a different energy. Sometimes it’s “negative” or something that doesn’t want to heard or it can be a more positive thing that is being blocked or needing your attention. It adds another layer to the reading, you know how movies & tv shows have “alternative endings“? Think of it like that, an alternative “ending” of the story being told.
