Haveston Nato strap (not like other natos)

Фильм және анимация

Let’s look at the Haveston “the carrier strap”, I feel like this is a NATO for guys that don’t care for the floppy nato ends. It doesn’t wear like most straps I have tried before, and some killer color combos.

Thanks for the review. Nato straps just look a bit akward and bulky on the case back. This one looks quite a bit better than others.

Very cool. I also never heard of the brand before your video. May have to check one out as this addresses the two main things I don't like about most Natos. The floating keeper alone puts this ahead of the pack, because the lack of that feature is super annoying if you don't have giant wrists as it makes dealing with the long tail even worse.

Looks great on your wrist. I cut the extra strap off all my NATOs. Also you can keep the bulk under the wrist by sliding the watch lower on the strap. Cheers.

you can tie a NATO so that it rides like a zulu but moves all of the folding and bulk to the bottom of the wrist. doesn't involve cutting the tag end or the doubled part of the band. some of my NATOs are tied like this depending on the material and the watch.

That strap is beautiful, but do you really think it pairs well with the Jade Monster? I ordered mine and it should be here this week; I've been looking for a decent NATO to go with it but so far I can't find one. In the video it looks like the blue clashes a bit with the Jade dial....maybe it's just the lighting? Anyone know of a really good NATO to pair this Jade Monster with?

Love haveston straps. One of the best designs and fair priced with great colors. I know you said u are not a fan of nato style straps, but, you should try an Erika's Originals MN Strap. A but price, but they are custom made to fit perfectly for whatever wrist size you tell them. And they are thin with just single pass through and under the watch.

Good color combo with the jade monster. That said, I will ALWAYS pick a properly fitted bracelet first, a nice long leather strap second, a Twist-o-flex bracelet third, and a NATO if I can't find one of the other three.... ;)

I must echo what others have said. I just don’t like lay way my watches sit high. I do however live two piece Zulu straps. This one likes interesting. I have tried so many then turned around and sold them. That one does look good on the monster Rob. Great vid. Peace.

I think it's probably one of, if not the best Nato available, but the wait time to get one of the more popular ones is terrible. Been waiting for almost 8 months now for an M-22. Also, glad I got an M-1936 strap before they went with the M-1936 a-2. The original looks much better.

Monsters always look out of proportion when you put them on 20mm strap. Unless it is 22mm strap that has 20mm lug width then in this case it would look proportional. basically similar to the way the original strap is designed.

  • @dsgstp8d

This is a great option for those of us who don't like natos but why not just get the three ring Zulu? No excess flap underneath, no extra buckles and nothing to tuck. Seems like a waste to buy that strap just to cut off the excess flap.

To make the material of a Nato strap that thick is stupid...makes the watch sit way too high. I have a couple of Blu Shark Alpha Shark Straps which Im do not wear anymore, they are of high quality but since the material is very thick, they make watches sit way too high...this looks especially stupid with smaller watches. I rather pick regular Natos with thin material thickness, which works better and more like they had been intended in the past.
