This looks lovely. Haven is next on our list for caravan holidays to try, we've done a couple of Parkdeans and they've been fab. I'm dying for a Skegness trip so this would be a great base for us. Looks like a lovely park.

It was a nice place to stay and the grounds were well kept as to be expected with Haven 😁 apparently they are due an extension to the park so hopefully it’s bigger by the time you go

She started off at Wild Duck in 2021, Quay West in 2022, Skeggness last season. She is now at Marton Mere this season back on the Ents Team and promoted to Presenter. She enjoys it.

There are plans to extend this site. Apparently they have purchased the field behind the tourers.

Hi David 😁 If we return il be sure to try and include disabled accessibility, I’m sure that everywhere in terms of entertainment etc is accessible, an adapted caravan might be needed. Hope the video showed you enough for you to enjoy it this time round

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it 🤩 I would say it’s at least a 15-20 minute easy walk into the town centre, and the promenade is a stones throw from there. We found ourselves to be a little far away from ingoldmells for our liking which is where fantasy island is, apart from that it was in a good location.

We do plan on visiting more Haven sites. We usually opt for a premier inn but enjoy the freedom of a caravan. Pwllheli in North Wales is a really nice Haven that we can recommend, really close to many popular beaches

My wife and me spent the last weekend here and honestly The best thing about this site is that you can walk out the back gate and be in town in 5 minutes. Our family has been to All the Haven sites over the last 15 years and this by far the Worst. Staff were miserable and didn't want interact, the pool is from a school back in the 80's, club house small and arcade area tiny and only fit for under 6's. We spoke to a lot of owners who all have been treated dreadfully by the new Haven regime. On arrival we decided to go to the Richmond Arms for some lunch, sat in the table service area and was ignored by the two young female members of staff for half an hour while they lounged across the bar! The other 6 people were also ignored so we walked out, set the tone beautifully!! I have sent my feelings in an email to Haven and yes this has also been ignored! Sorry to vent on your channel but it's such a shame as it is a brand new site, will never go back.

Ahh so sorry to hear of your bad experience and thanks for being so honest. We used it as a base to stay to visit fantasy island so the site and its facilities weren’t so important to us, we definitely noticed what you are saying though, especially the pool which we didn’t end up using and made the decision not to use it by looking through the window. We headed to butlins to use their pool and facilities which definitely made up for it, video of which is also on our channel. Comparing it to other haven sites we have visited its just not the same, especially Pwllheli. Our previous year in Skegness we stayed in a dreadful caravan on a different site so this time we at least had a slight upgrade on that which we were happy with, you’d understand if you seen that caravan which looked like the seats had never been washed and the pink paint on the kitchen walls was peeling off 😂 thanks for watching, we have lots of other videos and hopefully you find somewhere more enjoyable to visit from those

Really enjoy your video's. We go to butlins @ skegness every year and you are 100% right the swimming facilities are brilliant.We have visited Pwllheli and again you are correct, chalk and cheese. I would hate to see the club house in the height of the summer season at skegness. No bar in the main entertainment room but next door in the bar no toilets?? Very strange layout!! Anyway keep up the good work and if like us you have children above the age of 6 there are a lot of better Haven sites - Seashore in Yarmouth and as mentioned Pwllheli.
