Aww, that's such a shame, but great that you've got a new break to look forward to. We enjoyed it too, but because half of the facilities were still restricted because of covid we're going back again later this year 😊

We're waiting to see what, if anything, will be available as a few other parks will have swimming and selected activities. We have three Haven breaks booked in April and early May.

I would say Haven are trying very hard. You have to track and trace, wear masks inside and tables are further apart. I hope you have a great time, we will definitely go back one day.

It's been a bit harder because I can't go abroad so we had to quickly change to UK holidays, and the places I'm going to have a lot of restrictions in place, (understandably). The resort's are quieter, and you have to pre-book a lot of the entertainment, which means a lot of planning and a lot less spontaneity. I miss going to the airport and getting on a plane, but we're enjoying seeing more of the UK. 🇬🇧

@@tetehl4731 they should email you with details, I had mine a month before. If you booked the holiday before March then I believe it is included. If you booked after March, as a Haven Hideaway, swimming is not included, neither is the entertainment and you'll have to pay extra for it (approx £40 a caravan). Then you can try and book a time slot for either/ both online or using the app.

The price of the upgrade wasn't worth it for us as we were only there for a few days, but if you have a bigger family or are there for longer you could probably still add it on through your booking add ons. There's a huge retail park about 5 minutes car journey away that we used for supplies. Have a great holiday, stay safe.x

I worked there, they fired me for being pregnant, and when trying to get them in trouble they wrote down saying it was a agreement resigning. You would be surprised with some things they should do but don’t.

It has changed since I was last there. I do remember the old yellow water slide which ended up in deepend of the swimming pool. 2 entertainment clubs (1 for adults and 1 for kids). I am more talking back in the 1980s.

We would like to go back when we can use all the faculties, the outside waterside looks great fun. I love looking back at photos of places we visited when I was younger, it's a shame there isnt more (good quality) video of these resorts from the 80s and 90s.

@@KarionTravelling I remember combe haven before the indoor pool opened. They had a baby pool with a yellow slide and a standard rectangular pool with a slide. The indoor is similar to how it looked but had a yellow water slide and a smaller yellow slide that landed in to the deepend. Shallow end has something with an umbrella. The clubs, stars and stripes was the adult one and the kids one, I never knew the name of.

I do remember seeing that water slide in there. I think my family went to couple of haven parks. 1 was in Caistor and the other in Hastings (Been to more than once) before we started to go to Swanage with the church group we were part of.

Hiya. I'm loving your channel. Can I just ask, do you prefer Church Farm or Combe Haven? We went to Church Farm a couple of weeks ago and loved it but not sure whether to go back there or try combe haven next time. Thank you x

Thank you very much. They are both fairly similar in terms of size and facilities, except Combe Haven is on a hill and Church Farm is flat. The pool is slightly better at Combe Haven, but I think Church Farm is a little nicer overall. I would go to either again, but if I could only pick one it would be Church Farm.

We've not been before but would definitely go again. We had to cancel some of our holiday plans because of covid, so I feel your disappointment. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the world returns to normal a little bit more next year 🤞 Do you think this is a good representation of Combe Haven, did I miss much out?

If you opt for the stay and not the stay and play at Combe Haven, can you use the entertainment, arcade etc if you buy a pass? I may want to have a look, but not interested in the other amenities as its only my wife and I.

I believe that if you book a stay break you can use the arcade and restaurants, you need the stay and play to use the swimming pools and entertainment venues. I dont know if they are selling onsite passes after you have booked, it might be worth calling the park direct to check. 😊

How far from the seaside is it? Can you walk to the beach? Thank you

You can see the beach from high points in the park, it's about a five minute drive or 20 minute walk.

We went to another park for halloween last year, but with covid restrictions it wasn't great. I hope to do it this year as the entertainment crew said it's usually amazing. 🎃👻

I'm sorry I don't know, because of covid things have changed slightly. If you are travelling soon it would be worth giving the park a ring direct and asking them. It could all change again when lockdown eases tomorrow/ in June.

There is a !laundarette but the do wash for you £13 a load I found this out in reception as rd closest public due to covid

I know u said it’s 10-15 mins walk to the beach but where is it based on the site or do u have to come off the site to get to it? I’m going in aug x

Yes the beach is quite away from the park. I based it the from the middle by the sports bar.

@@beckiesnaildesignsx7495 I think we followed the path onsite down the hill and came out by the garage and then walked in the general direction of the beach. There were a couple of signs, its OK on the way down, but it feels miles on the way back up when you're wet and laden down with towels etc.

It depends on how close you are to the main building and if you can connect to their WiFi.

coombe haven has such a good atmosphere its a shame that caravan holidays which used to be the thing of the working class are now almost becoming a thing of the rich........ive holidayed all over but hastings coomb e haven always feels like home

The prices this year have been a lot higher, and very few last minute deals, but I guess that's some what to be expected. Hopefully they will return to normal soon 😊

Yes, I have plans to visit a lot more Haven parks next year, the season is over now, but I have holidays booked for March and April.
