I wish they would show "models" wearing each color wig. It's hard to pic a color by the swatches they provide!

Exactly! It would be a great deal better than looking at a close-up swatch! So frustrating.

Amanda you are very pretty and you look so pretty no matter what you wear. Your eyes are stunning. Enjoy your chipper and querky personality. Thank you for your time and reviewing. I wish they made Caliente about 2 inches shorter and a little thinner in volume. I keep seeing how thick it is and some say quality is very poor but they can't all be bad! I know in TN the gals like big hair but those of us who have thin hair get overwhelmed! I wish there were some wig reviews showing wigs like Caliente, Brighton, Newport, Editors Pick, The Real Deal, Ignite, etc., just to name a few, altered because a lot of them just have too much hair and look wiggy. Experienced wig wearers know what to do but many of us do not buy a wig becasue once we look around at many reviews we see some pretty bad comments. Not all the time but it is not a great percentage. Then there are some that do look like they just grew out of your head as you say and you look stunning. Not all of us older gals can wear long hair. If we just knew the truth about what we could do to the wig and see a before and after that might inspire us to purchase. Loaded with doubt and fear of making a bad purchase because we don't want to look like a lionhead! There is one lady on youtube who does alter hers and she looks fabulous but she doesn't buy a lot of wigs so she can't share. She has nothing to lose by telling the truth because she does not sell wigs. I get it is a business but the truth always prevails. I like your reviews because you do state what you like and do not like about a wig and why. Thank you for everything.

Amazing! 😃 I feel so dumb, I am laughing at myself - knowing now what the SS stands for! Kinda of a face smack moment for me - this makes so much more sense now, lol! I love rooted wigs - I think they look so natural, just my opinion. Shaded Iced Mocha is my absolute favorite color! But, even though I am cool toned - I do like the Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice! Shaded Iced Java is also so nice! Thank you again, Amanda - Wow - so much work in this video, changing your wig so many times! ❤🌸💮🌸❤

Hands down of all the RW shades I have tried thus far, Shaded Iced Latte Macchiato is my favorite. The SS Biscuit I have and Shaded Cappuccino both pull warm on me and the Iced Java seems nice, but the highlights on mine are definitely brassy. SILM is the perfect level of ashy for my eyes to pop and my skin to look healthy. I was shocked and am so in love that I’m hoping I can find a similar color in other brands that will hopefully have a cap that fits me better.

I hope I can get an answer from you…..I only wear Jon Renau wigs - heat friendly in Shaded Praline. In the belle tress line what color would come close to shaded praline?

Hey Peggy! Oh that’s a tough one! There isn’t going to be one super close. Take a look at sugar cookie with hazelnut. It’ll be a bit darker though. Lots of warm, golden and darker blonde tones. Shaded Cappuccino is my FAVORITE by far, though some of my RW wigs don’t have a lot of the platinum highlights which I really love. I will definitely look into that Simmer Elite in 12/22. Thank you for sharing this video.

I’m so disappointed that I find a style I love, but the wig brands do rooted white/gray/silver wigs. Natural white hair like I have does not have roots. Why would I want my hair to look unnatural.

Why are the roots always so dark and the rooted wigs? Do they make any that are rooted but with less severe contrast?

Most of the roots are a medium brown. You can get less contrast if the wig color is darker…closer to the root color.

Ladies, I truly wish that they would add more platinum highlights on their brunette shades and especially on their wavy/ curly styles. Then, I would try them, since gold highlights look terrible on me! My heartfelt wish is for them to make SHADED ICED SWEET CREAM 16/22 SS on many more styles, like WAVY DAY (to be perfect, I would love this style in the ELITE cap, size PETITE) READY FOR IT, GABOR DESIGN SERIES, and SRLFIE MODE, my new favorite! I love these wigs in cool platinum blondes! I afore some of the reds depending on the application. I recently tried SHADED WHEAT at your suggestion on DAY TO DATE; it is very pretty. Just not so much on me!😢 I will get another in a different color. Maybe 14/88H, or, 14/22 unrooted. (?) Roots are okay...bit frankly, even though I wear them too, I think dimensional colors across the spectrum look better without roots. Rooted colors could use a more smudge root on some shades, ad the depth causes the colors to darken too much on some lighter very pretty shades!😢 Amanda, you look very pretty in all these colors. Maybe you have a Neutral skintone. I am cool pink. Therefore I need neutral to cool leaning more platinum cool or white. The warm tones make me look yellow, sallow and pale😅
