Saturday night was fish and chip night for us in the 70's (in Melbourne, Aus). I always volunteered to go and get the order. They had a pinball machine so I was entertained while waiting.

Like the late 50s&60s pinball machines. It is my era of cafes and coffee bars in my youth in the UK

Another great old pinball brought back to playing as it did when it came out. …I was around when Bally’s Bazaar came out. The zipper flippers were a huge attraction….the flippers closed, and you couldn’t lose the ball down the middle. Wow, what a feature. This game with the 4 kickers was copied by Gottlieb on Top Card…. It makes its own gravy! …Thanks for a very enjoyable series….Pinball sure has been great for a lot of years now.

I really like how fast they get the ball going...every surface seems bounce the ball in a different direction. Even with just three pop bumpers, there are angled rubbers nearby to make the action fast. You really need it to be on 5-ball to have a chance. And even with that, it resets the letters on each ball. It is a pretty clever machine with the self-adjusting difficulty mechanism. It is definitely the kind of machine I would like. Great job.

On the instructions, I guess one could look for vintage paper that is yellowed but not used. Or, I've never tried this, but maybe spill some coffee on card stock. Speaking of coffee, I've heard of that being added to lume on watch hands. That way, if you have to replace the lume on old hands on an old dial, you can add coffee to help make the lume look more brown. And now, there are likely lume kits that allow you to choose a color that harmonizes with the rest of the dial. Interestingly, some people are into patina, whether it is watch dials, pickup trucks, or pinball machines. I saw one where someone essentially put an equivalent of Triple-Thick on a somewhat rusted-out pickup. Of course, there were places inside where the metal was gone, so they had to make their own floorboard and all, and even the instrument cluster. While the exterior appearance was mostly original, the engine and interior were not. They put a diesel excavator engine in it. That took an adaptor kit to get that to work with the transmission. It didn't have the torque that they wanted, so they installed turbines and a custom fuel compressor.

I kept looking at the two roll-over buttons in the middle of the barn dance floor... Do they do anything? They don't appear to have anything on the playfield that says if they are worth points...
