Mike Pinder's lovely song from the On the Threshold of a Dream album.
A rare song to hear these days but I love Mike's voice on this song. Of course its parts 1 & 2 run together minus the Voyage in between, so well stripped down! Apart from the MB themselves, I think this might be the only cover on YT :-). Guitar is tuned down a half step and its in 432 Hrz tuning. For all our music friends and all at TotallyGuitars.com

You cover the Moodies so very well! I was a fan since GO NOW back in the 1960's. Saw them live 20+ times including the farewell residence in Las Vegas - travelled there from Connecticut! Met John at Infinity Hall in Hartford in 2020 just before Covid shut everything down.

Many thanks for tuning in Thomas! Thank you for the very kind complement, we do love to cover the MB's because they have so many wonderful songs that remain timeless. Of course, I remember Go Now with Deny Laine but my real love of the Moodies came with Justin and John's contributions which got the best out of Mike Pinder too. I have never seen them live but I was under the stage at Art on Ice once singing along with Justin as he did Nights in White Satin! :-)

@@neverfoundthetime I have often said it was very fortunate Denny Laine and Clint Walker left the band, making room for Justin and John. I am sure that otherwise the Moody Blues would have been a "One hit wonder" with GO NOW, never to be heard from again.

I think you are right Thomas. If Justin wasn't there to write the songs, they would never have found their own music .... and all that followed!

The best of Mike Pinder! I loved it on the album and then also the "Caught Live PLus 5" live stage sesson. I play my guitar with it. It's a nice one to play outside in the back yard. I think you both did excellently!! is the half step down in tuning go well with the album? Its been a while! thanks friends!

The half step down tuning is just to suit my aging voice! It makes many songs much easier to sing.
