After watching Mafia States, i have MUCH more respect for Michael and the way he carries himself. As much as i enjoy Sammy's stories, he's not coming away from this thing looking so good, IMHO. Both men were All-Star Mob guys, but lets be real, Michael could have been a Doctor, a Lawyer, a Politician whatever he wanted to be. Sammy could never be any of those things. Sammy is a life long Street Thug.

Michael is what a Mafioso is in my mind. It could be your neighbour. It could be your uncle. These guys don't stand out. They are gentleman who prima facie are like you and I but they have a deadly streak, and are highly intelligent which sadly, they use for bad rather than good.

Michael was definitely a product of his environment. If he grew up in a house where the dad was a lawyer or doctor he could have easily gone down those paths. Like he's said numerous times, he was in medical school and got involved in the mob strictly to help his dad get out of prison. He is not genetically a bad person, Sammy is. Like you said, he's nothing more than a street thug. Michael rose through the ranks because of intelligence and business acumen. Sammy rose through the ranks by doing the dirty work.

Pretty obvious difference between the two. Michael confessed his own involvement but implicated nobody else and went to prison for eight years, much of it in solitary confinement. When he came out he left the criminal life forever. Sammy got caught and informed on all of his friends and associates to get out from under 38+ murders (putting him in the serial killer category), then went into witness protection free as a well protected bird. Not content he went on to more drug dealing and violence, got caught and only then went to prison. Since release he's presumably left crime, if only because he's so old as to make it difficult. He's also out of touch with the life because nobody smart would ever trust him. Definitely not reformed, just presumably inactive. I assume some people in the criminal justice system still keep an eye on him anyway just in case. I'd do honest business with Michael but never with Sammy.

I believe He never killed anyone. He didn't need to and if u watch mafia states sammy perfectly explains why franseze wouldn't need to being his high status and his father. He works in innuendo just like sammy said. Could he have possibly killed someone? Yes there's allways a chance but word spreads in that life and before and after your made everyone knows your buisness and if you put in work its how they elevate people in that life. If nobody knew about anyone putting in work how the hell could u trust anyone?? And you mean to tell me after all these years nobodies talked if michael killed someone? Obviously it would have been an order handed down and another party would know and would have definitely talked by now. If Michael did do it its a very very small chance. Him neither confirming or denying let's him play both bases. Michael is an extremely good communicator and he knows just the right thing to say. I really Michael but this is the unbiased truth I feel if you have any common sense and good amount of knowledge of mobster history.

I don't think Michael killed anyone. Not by his own hands. Sammy was trying to make a point. Killing someone is normally a prerequisite to becoming a made man. You don't become a made man without your deeds being taken into account. So Michael obviously is being accused of being made without killing anyone. There is a reason this subject gets brought up. It's also unlikely Michael killed anyone personally as a Capo as well. Generally the administration ( bosses, capo) delegate murder to lower ranking members. Michael is being accused of never earning the right to be made but was made because of respect to his father.

Yes because they are the Italian mafia and nowhere near as dangerous as the Sinaloa Cartel for example. Cartel members can openly threaten with death because they are extremely fucking dangerous and don't take shit from anyone including police, judges. DAs, criminal defense lawyers and even politicians at times. They have the CIA on payroll and yes they do kill them if they have too but the news will never cover that and they don't. Fucking with a cartel will have multiple criminal groups come after you including the Italian mafia. Cartels are way above and beyond dangerous than any Italian mafia group and the mob is dependent on cartels completely. You think it's hard for them to kill even a famous politician? LOL So many Mexican cartel members are very very poor including their family. They will tell one of their poor members to do the killing and they will take care of their family for life which they do deliver on the promise. If they refuse, they tell them that they will kill them and also come after their family for not doing the killing. So think about it, you think Donald Trump is really safe? lol he is not.... Sounds far fetched? Fine.... You can believe what you want... Just remember that Trump's name is being used for a casino because we can fucking touch him whether the secret service likes it or not. lol Who the Fuck is Pierce Cohalan to me? Who the fuck is Gregg Hayim to me? They are fucking less than ants to me... And mark my fucking words - THEY WILL FUCKING DIE A HORRIBLE FUCKING DEATH FOR WHAT THEY DID TO ME! Okay? Better you fuck off unless you want your family dead too. Don't get involved in beef that has nothing to do with you unless you want to die as well. If I can acquire Trump brand name for a casino, what makes you believe that I can't remove the Cohalan name off the courthouse and have it re-named to my last name: Chaudry ? lol fuck you.... hahahah I told you Gregg Hayim would go broke right.... multiple stores gone... Only two more to go until he will probably kill himself.

The Glomar response... "I can neither confirm nor deny". Sometimes the best response is no response and by neither confirming or denying he's not putting himself or his family in any jeopardy. Whether Michael did anything like that it's between him and God. Let people think what they want.

I have two thoughts... 1. I wasn't in the Mafia, but I grew up with guys who were. I have no doubt that a sufficiently skilled earner wouldn't be wasted on street level stuff. Whether that applies to Michael, I have no idea. 2. He's entering a "No Contest" plea. Leave it alone already.

I find it hard 2 swallow that Sammy supposedly regrets the actions and crimes based on the salient facts of his criminal career. Salient facts that, now and for the past 30 years, he's generated his (scantily deserved) daily bread 🍞 from. Based upon his proclaimed (and in my opinion pontificated) violent crimes. He has no skills; no portfolio. Only a trumped up legend. Every single SQUAKING UTTERANCE from Sammy should be held in contempt!
