There is no right choice. I always pick fruit cave because artisan goods are more expensive than mushrooms. And do better gifts for villagers. And I can finish the community center faster

@@TastyChubz Arguably the mushroom cave has become much more pointless after mushroom logs have been added, l get multiple mushrooms from them every few days and they range from normal quality common mushrooms to iridium quality purple mushrooms or morels or chanterelles, the logs are relatively easy to make if you went out to collect moss on the green rain day and have an upgraded axe, so basically you can start making them in summer and you're pretty much set on any mushrooms you may need. The bat cave on the other hand can give you fruit that otherwise is only available from fruit trees, which are quite expensive to buy and take a while to grow and only grow in one season, yet the bat cave has a chance to spawn every single fruit you might need for the artisan bundle without you ever having to spend money on trees and waiting ages to grow them. So in conclusion, getting the fruit bats and a couple mushroom logs makes way more sense than getting the mushroom cave and like 6 different fruit trees, and you'll get basically the same results, just slightly less fruit (which aren't very useful anyways) and much better quality mushrooms of a wider variety. Also fyi l absolutely love mushrooms and think they're much more superior than fruits in the game but it just makes way more sense to set up mushroom logs rather than get the cave

Fun fact: in 1.6 there was a reason TO choose the mushroom cave as well as a reason to NOT choose the mushroom cave added, the dehydrator is the reason to choose it, and the mushroom log was the reason to not choose it, mushroom logs produce 5 mushrooms every 4 days, which is a little more than the amount 2 cave machines make, but the reason the mushroom log is better is cuz you can manipulate the mushrooms it produces, maple trees increase chance for red and purple, pine trees increase chance for morels, oak trees increase chance of chanterelles, and mystic trees provide an extra buff for purple chances, with no trees nearby, theres roughly an 80% chance for common mushrooms, 15% for red, and 5% for purple Edit: I, messed up what trees give what mushrooms, pines give chanterelles and oak give morels

@@keegangunn1645 I've got so much moss in my game I didn't know what to do with it all! I'm so glad hearing it's used for the mushroom logs! But how does it work? Is it where you put the log down it determines what trees are around it and then uses that to produce the type of mushroom? I'm trying really hard to play the game and learn as I go, but you miss things haha. I hadn't played the game since they added the whole island into the game so I've missed out on a lot of stuff haha I'm trying to catch up

@@PanicLedisko so the log is at the center of a 7x7 square, and the trees nearby determine the type of mushroom, with no trees there's roughly an 80% chance for brown mushrooms, 18% for red, and 2% for purple, maple trees increase the chance for red and purple, oak trees increase the chance of chanterelle, pine trees increase the chance of morels, and the new mystic trees boost the chance for purples. The quality of the mushrooms is determined by total trees, and mossy trees count twice, the log produces 5 mushrooms every 4th day not including the first day, so its on the same schedule as parsnips assuming you sell at Pierre's to get immediate seeds. With the log having a little over twice the efficiency of a mushroom cave machine as long as you have the space it is better unless you want the dehydrator that's now in the mushroom cave Edit: no, the trees don't have to be grown before the log is placed, in case you're wondering

Toby fox did a lot more planning ahead for his games than Scott cawthon, probably because they were at completely different points in their careers when they blew up. Scott was considering dropping game development because it was going nowhere, so FNAF was a last ditch effort and therefore didn’t really have all the lore planned out. Whereas Toby has had Deltarune planned out since 2012-ish when he had the fever dream of its ending, and Undertale was essentially a self-test to see if he was capable of making a full game (definitely is) therefore his games are far more thought out ahead of time than the FNAF series.

Don't you dare compare Scott Cawthon and Toby Fox in the same breath. Implying that FNaF has even a fraction of Undertale and Deltarune's writing quality is hysterical. (Well okay you can compare them if you want to, I just don't think it's a good comparison)

Just saying.. I picked the fruit bats, and then the path to the cave I made a bunch of moss stumps and so now I collect all the mushrooms on the way to grab fruit every few days and I get the best of both worlds! ;)

My 6yr old loves junimos so much that we started a new save with a character he's designed around them named "Juni" and will only grow crops that also remind him of junimos. 😂

If I made a game and a fan compared me to Taylor Swift I would shut it down

as a swiftie, undertale fandom is the swiftie insanity of the gaming world but she definitely got it right with concerned ape being taylor swift. the amount of easter eggs in taylor’s songs is insane & you do have to do some detective work to understand some of it LOL, just like some stuff CA puts in SV.

Honestly i was a mushroom caver aswell, but the Mushroom log is a real gamechanger that makes the Mushroom cave way less useful, except to get the dehydrator, so it‘d be more useful to choose the bats now in my opinion.

It's amazing for blue berries and cranberries.

I’m subbed to junimo but like actually why does KZread do this 😭 when you watch shorts when you’ve searched for something, after a few shorts it will show you unrelated ones. It’s pretty bad actually, because it’s probably trying to trap you into mindlessly scrolling. Anyways, I’d recommend not commenting on the video though as it makes the algorithm think you like it so it will recommend you more videos like this.

The mushroom cave can actually be useful this way. Before, it was too much checking it every day. I would just choose a fruit cave and check it once a month or so, selling everything I see. It was pretty useful for community centre, too.

I understand the people who genuinely did not get it & asked kindly, I even explained to some of them what it was about. What I’m complaining about is the amount of people who literally just heard the word ‘Taylor Swift’ & commented stuff like ‘I hate Taylor Swift!1!!’ or ‘Why would ever compare Taylor Swift’s *Talent* to Concerned Ape’s??!1!!’ or ‘Taylor Swift mentioned, unsubscribing & disliked’, you probably get the idea now. Also there's the mossy stump now too that you can make, as well as the mushroom cave in ginger island in the late game. Fruit trees would be the only way to get fruit if you didn't choose bats.

Am I the only person that used the batcave to finish the community center quicker? The combination of the forest farm and the batcave makes for quick access to all of the fruits and mushrooms for free.
