Nestled in the beautiful hillside outside Liscarroll village, the Donkey Sanctuary is an animal welfare charity dedicated to improving the lives of donkeys in Ireland. Since 1987, the sanctuary has loved and cared for thousands of neglected and abandoned donkeys from across the country. Entry is free and there is plenty of parking, but donations to support their cause are very welcome! Bring the kids, have a picnic and fall in love with these beautiful creatures!
