Ahh I got very unlucky today. I arrived at Horst and damaged my board at the beach without even hitting the water 😞. That was it for me for today, no surfing 😭

I don't think it is a good idea, simply because I will have less control means less speed. I'm 165cm and a higher boom makes my front foot slip out of the straps. I learned that the hard way unfortunately 😂
