I just have finished making this yummy potatoes crunchies. Though I didn't put enough salt. But I ate a lot of these guys with sweet chili sauce. It was very tasty. I'm a 12 year old and I can't believe I made this almost perfect.

1-2 portions, and you have to throw away all the oil // very impractical recipe.

For those who want a non-egg alternative, mix a bit of flour and water together to get a similar (not as sticky unfortunately) egg-like wash. Then you stick bread crumbs as normal.

One of those people who have egg allergies who always groan at the parts of the recipe that introduce egg... I also heard a little bit of olive oil mixed with flour may also work?

@@tangerinecceden1750 I can't say I've ever tried oil with flour personally so I wouldn't know. I'm no professional chef either - I just have some practice turning stuff vegan cause of family members. Applesauce instead of eggs in certain baked goods (cakes usually) or 1:3 ratio flour and water respectively instead of egg batter to stick bread crumbs when frying. If i had to guess - oil would probably work a little less cause of the slick nature but if you got some to spare then there's one way to find out.

Take my advice boil the potatoes and mash them then add salt pepper and little bit of oregano and some onion powder. Flatten it on a tray. Put it in fridge for say 30 mins to 2 hours and then take it out. Cut small blocks of potatoes mix it with potato starch or all purpose flour mixed with some coriander powder and red chilli and garlic powder. Crack two eggs and 2 table spoon of milk to it. Then add 1/2 spoon salt to it. And add all the potatoes (chopped in to blocks) into the batter and rest as the frying you saw Edit. It will be super tasty inside out.
