Here is my feeling about your channel: honestly you deserve much more subscribers. According to what I have seen on the Internet, your content is worth thousands and thousands of views. That is the least we could do to give your work the credit and recognition it deserves don't you think... I know KZread is not all about views and subscribers. It is more about loving what you do but still... I can't bear to see such a quality not being recognized as such. Nevertheless 4837 is not bad at all and I hope it will increase continuously.

If this helps anyone... I like to think of things literally and know exactly _why_ phrases mean what they mean, so I always think of " 事がある" as "the experience exists". So.. 日本に行った事があります gets translated in my head as "The "went to Japan" experience exists" which is the direct translation which can then be reworded to "have been to japan"

There are so many great things to comment on: 1) each lesson is well structured, clearly delivered, and easy to understand 2) the sequence of lessons is very well planned and leads on to the next seamlessly 3) your references to previous lessons ensure that they are used and recalled, rather than forgotten Those are just a few of the great things I'd like to highlight, and it's always a pleasure to learn from you. Thank you so much for the great work, keep it up! みさ先生さいきょう! 本当にありがとうございます!

Saki_LPS it’s also helpful because when you want to make modifying clauses later, you can’t use a masu form in the middle of the sentence. So you are goin to have to learn the informal tenses then anyway. That’s why I never understood why some mainstream teaching methods only teach the masu form at first. It just makes for more work when learning a new concept later.

As usual, your lesson made my weekend. The review part helps one feel one's memory has been working just fine (even if one has just had a one-week break between lessons, and one's mind seems empty just before the next lesson) - which is great. Plus there is a nice build-up of something new every time. And so the overall feeling about learning this relatively complicated language is finally very positive. I am in owe of your teaching style, both as a beginner learner of Japanese and a practicising teacher of English.) どうもありがとうございましたMisa,先生-)

I have to make a comment. I am an English teacher in Japan and consider myself a decent teacher who has patience and understanding but this girl is something else. My Japanese is of a lower intermediate level I would say but I felt compelled to watch her videos from the absolute beginner stage so that I could just get used to her style. However, I have actually learnt quite a lot from her beginner classes and will persist with them. Living in Japan, I can understand the nuances she uses in her teaching and I have to say its SPOT ON ! Apart from the unnecessary music, they are well articulated and delivered lessons. Great work Misa !! Although I am curious to know which country you went and studied. Being English I am going to say you studied in England but I am not 100 percent sure. There are a few American utterances in there. Your reference to not knowing what they say in America about "did you wait" tells me you are teaching to an American audience but maybe studied elsewhere. Please enlighten me !
