At 69, Roberto Molina has spent nearly half his life fishing at Havana's Malecon. His face weather-beaten, he walks steadily down towards the waterfront from his home just a few hundred meters away. Every day, hundreds of fishermen like Molina try their luck at the Malecon. "People now fish out of necessity," he says. Amateurs and professionals fish what they can with hook and line to either eat or sell to private restaurants.
