This farrrrr predates Chabad. It’s been a Jewish wedding celebration tradition for millennia, while Chabad is less than a century old, and the Hasidic movement only dates back to the late 1800s. The Reform movement in Judaism also long pre-dates this ultra-orthodox zealot faction by 400 years. Stop trying to rewrite history to fit your small world view. Only 1% of Jews worldwide are Hasidic, and of that 1%, only the US Hasids are Chabad-Lubavitch, unlike the Israeli Haredi. Now please, do not litter the comments with Chabad ideology because that falls under proselytizing - a MAJOR sin. If you’re actually Jewish, you know better.
