I’ve listened to Hauser play this piece many times, but to watch THIS video version is the BEST imo! Not only is it a very beautiful, emotionally moving song, and from The Godfather movie, but it’s the background that really makes it special to me. Having been to Sicily a couple of times, but also visiting the house and grounds where The Godfather was filmed, brings back so many wonderful memories for me! Hauser’s such a gifted musician, and has so much versatility playing various styles of music - from classical, classic rock, and everything in between - is played 100% from his heart and soul, giving it all he can! (BTW: I’m 67 now and was trained as a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, so I have a tendency for being extremely critical about all types of musicians, listening to only what I consider as talented ones!)

i can feel the romance , the movements of AL pacino , the smell of roses and grass in sisly and the heat of the son and the color of blood on the ground and see the WSK , i live the movie whenever i listen to it . i repeated it like thousand times and cry silently each and every time
