Heym Ricardo! The basic measurements of a console are displayed in the video. The other measurements I took are made to fit my equipment - and I had to make adjustments during this rebuild because the table height was first (3 years ago) built to fit my E-Piano and now would be a bit too low - why I had to add some wood under the new keyboard-section juts to get the right height. And of course the table top and the bench were made to fit into my room and for my body height. So it might be that it could be too big or too small for you as these are very individual dimensions. If you are nonetheless interested in my special measurements I could share the CAD-files (AutoCAD) with you... but without any guarantee that it would fit you or your needs ;)

@@TomMeyer-LB Hi Tom, thanks first of all for your reply. I studied all your video minute by minute, unfortunately I don't know German, but I understood something. I imagined that it was like you said and that there are no standard measures for the bench and for the console, but that they should be adapted to the musician and to the type of keyboard that you buy. Even if I don't know how to use CAD I would like to have the basic outline of your project, at least I take inspiration for some measure. P. S .: what is the composition at minute 1:28?

Hey Ricardo! Thanks for being so inquisitive 😄 the composition is as given in the description Boëllmanns Toccata from the Suite gothique. You are right: my design was totally built to fit the keyboards and to fit the pieces of wood I could get from the wood shop. Because I used wood from the Model makers shop. And they only offer specific dimensions. The height measurement can be seen in the drawing that comes up during the video. And how large your console should become depends on the space you have and the pedalboard you want to fit in.. every console is quite a unique piece of craftsmanship.. and if you don’t use or have accesss to AutoCAD my files for the console won’t help you.. you would at least need the dwg-viewer App from Autodesk to at least view the files. If that is good for you we might exchange e-mai addresses and I could send you my drawings for the table and the keyboard “housing” ..

I'm starting using AutoCAD with demo version so if you could send me your project it could be of great help to me to draw some ideas, for example I don't know what kind of wood thickness to use for the console and the bench, better 18mm or 27mm and so on ... Great piece of music Léon Boellmann - IV. Toccata, very appreciated!

You play so well -- y should consider getting yourself a set of Midi keyboards that don’t Click with every touch.

Man könnte sogar noch eine Setzeranlage an die Leiste des 1 Manuals bauen, muss man aber leider selbst bauen mit Arduino.

Das brauch ich nicht so sehr. Ich kann den Setzer ja in HW programmieren und dann auf dem Fußschalter einfach vorwärts und rückwärts programmieren per Midi :) Ist ja zum Üben und nicht, um da dran Konzerte zu spielen ;)

Hallo Herr Meyer, danke für Ihre Video. Sieht und klingt toll aus. Ich wollte fragen, ich hab die Möglichkeit für Ca 700eu eine 2manualige Content k300 Orgel zu kaufen, die ist aber nicht midifiziert. Meine Frage ist, Ihre Schätzung nach, was würde die Midifizierung kosten? Also 2 Manualle mit pedal. Danke im Voraus!

Hallo und danke fürs Interesse! Für 2 Man und Ped kann man rechnen etwa 170€ pro Manualelektrik, 60€ für Pedalelektrik plus 3 Controller (ca. 150€) also knapp 530€ für die Teile. Ohne Garantie geschätzt. Einbauen muss man dann selber.. mögliche Shops: midi-Hardware.com und pausch-e.de. Aber es sind nicht überall alle Teile zu kriegen gerade. Einbaudauer hängt vom Platz im Spieltisch ab. Aber sind die Content Orgeln nicht schon midifähig?

@@TomMeyer-LB ich bin mir nicht 100% sicher. Das ist eine Laden aus Polen, hab meinen Freund gebetet der soll mit denen noch direkt telefonisch reden. Aber ich gehe davon aus das es nicht midifiziert ist eben weil es so billig ist. Wie schwer ist die Midifizierungs Prozess?

Das kommt auf die eigene Vorbildung an.. für mich als Instrumentenbauer war es nicht zu schwer. Und wenn man fertige Platinen kauft, ist es gut machbar. Hauptsache s ist genug Platz für die Technik ;) we aber noch nur ein Instrument zerlegt hat, braucht sicher mehr Zeit.,

Was hatten die Kanthölzer für Masse ? Sind das 50x50 plus ca. 10mm Platte ? Habe mir soeben zwei so Keyboards bestellt.

Lorien311 genau. Das sind 50 x 50 und 10 Platte. Ich musste das so planen, weil der Zulieferer 50 als größtes Maß anbietet.. geht aber Problemlos...

Might the addition of felt above and/or below the keys eliminate the plastic key click?

Thanks for your concern. But when you take a look at the console today (see later videos), you'll notice, that you need not to think about that anymore, as the keyboards were completely changed last year ;)

Hallo und guten Tag! Habe mir tatsächlich dasselbe Set (3x 61es +FCB 1010) gebaut, ohne die Videos vorher zu sehen und, leider, schreinertechnisch nicht so perfekt ☹️. Eine Frage zu den 61es: kann man sie so einstellen, dass ein fester Midi-Kanal gesetzt bleibt, also nach dem Einschalten gleich Kanal 2 oder 3? Ich hab nichts gefunden und schalte daher nach dem Start manuell... Ansonsten schließe ich mich meinen Vorrednern an: echte Spitze, auch die Präsentationen auf YT!!!

Hallo und Danke für das Kompliment. Wie in der Gebrauchsanweisung der Keystations zu lesen ist, kann man den MIDI-Kanal wie folgt setzen: "Mit Keystation verfügen Sie über 16 MIDI-Kanäle für das Senden von MIDI-Daten. Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass einige MIDI-Geräte und MIDI-Anwendungen die MIDI-Daten des Keyboards nur über einen bestimmten Kanal empfangen können.In diesem Fall können Sie den Sendekanal wie folgt einstellen:1.Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste, um den Edit-Modus zu aktivieren.2.Drücken Sie die dem zugeordneten Kanal (1 - 16) entsprechende Taste.Wenn ein MIDI-Gerät zum Beispiel nur auf Kanal 10 empfangen kann, drücken Sie die Funktionstaste und anschließend die entsprechend beschriftete Taste, um Kanal 10 auszuwählen. Sie können den Sendekanal auch den Octave Up & Down-Tasten ("+"oder "-") zuweisen.Nach der Programmierung des Sendekanals können Sie die Kanaleinstellung über die Octave Up & Down-Tasten ("+" oder "-") schrittweise ändern. Sobald Kanal 16 erreicht ist, wird durch erneutes Drücken derOctave Up-Taste wieder Kanal 1 ausgewählt. @@TomMeyer-LB Danke für die schnelle Rückantwort. Ja, das habe ich natürlich gelesen ;-)) und kenne den Edit-Modus. Aber diese Zuordnungen sind ja nicht permanent, die Keys stellen sich immer wieder auf Kanal 1 zurück wenn man sie ab- und später wieder einschaltet. D.h. vor dem Spielen muss ich Manual II sagen: Midikanal 2, und Manual 3: Midikanal 4 (Pedal ist fest auf Kanal 3 verdrahtet). Wahrscheinlich kann man die permanente Zuordnung über das Programm "Audio-Midi-Setup" am Mac machen? Das werde ich noch ausprobieren, im Moment ist alles auseinander gebaut wegen Lackierungsarbeiten...

Also bei mir geht die Zuordnung nicht verloren. Aber das wird ja auch in HW entsprechend eingestellt.. sorry aber das Verhalten der Keystation kenne ich nicht. Aber meine sind auch alles welche aus der ersten Serie. Ich meine, die sind 2019 neu als MkII raus gekommen. Vielleicht hat sich da was geändert? Tut mir leid, wenn ich da nicht helfen kann :(

Hello! You can activate the automatic (german) subtitles. But providing subtitles in different languages costs much more time than producing the video itself. And as the audience is quite small and I can't provide subtitles in every language this is just the step that is too much for someone who makes this as a hobby and non profit at all.

I just added german subtitles (and some englisch) to this Video. So normally you should already be able to use subtitles - even with automatic translation...

Hi. Congratulations on your console. As a long time classical organ MIDI console builder having build about 40 or so of 3-4-5 keyboard stacks I also suggest to use a LCD Touchscreen in the "portrait" mode instead of "landscape" mode. In that way you can fit many more stops for display on the screen. I also suggest to put touchscreen on left side. In that way you can playing the "bass" sound with your feet while you continue to play with your righthand. I am now also building 32 note AGO specs pedalboards. www.classicalmidiorgans.com

Thanks for the good words. But as you may see: The touchscreens are placed at the right AND the left hand side as in this order I can divide the stops as it normally is done in big organs to the left and the right side of the console. But thanks for your ideas nonetheless :) Be assured, that my console fits my needs totally :)

Ich bewundere Ihren Enthusiasmus und finde es schade, wenn Menschen wie Sie eines Tages von der digitalen Musikwelt bitter enttäuscht werden. Denn wie lange wird es "Hauptwerk" noch geben? Insolvenz... ? Technische Neuerungen werden eintreten und das viele ausgegebene Geld ist dann wie bei Aktien weg. Vom Winde verweht... Gegenwert? Bei einer echten Pfeifenorgel könnte ich in Krisenzeiten immerhin noch das Holz verheizen.

Aber aber... das klingt ja bitter! Warum? Die Software habe ich auf meinem Rechner, die Samplesets auch - wer will mir das wieder nehmen? Das läuft solange ich es nicht deinstalliere. Ob nun Milan irgendwann HW nicht mehr weiter ausbaut - who cares? Ich bin doch für meine Übe-Zwecke versorgt. Warum also sollte ich enttäuscht sein? Und das Geld ist ja in Werte umgesetzt. Mit dieser Technik lässt sich jedes MIDI-fähige virtuelle Instrument steuern. Nicht nur Hauptwerk. Also keineswegs "verweht". Wäre interessant, wer Sie so dermassen frustriert hat? Schade.

@@TomMeyer-LB Ich verstehe den Post da oben auch nicht. Einer Installation ist es doch wurscht, ob sie noch Updates bekommt oder nicht, solange es für den Fall eines Schadens eine Sicherungskopie gibt. Davon abgesehen gibt es auch noch GrandOrgue.
