The only negative experience I have when in the stretching room is people reciting the dialogue lol

The ghost host needs to stay.It's all about haunted mansion .It doesn't offend anybody. Don't change anything. If it's not broken, dont fix it .Leave it alone

I feel so compelled to comment since I have no way of being seen otherwise by Disney. I’m begging they don’t take out the hanging man. There is only ONE WAY OUT OF THE MANSION. You become a ghost. Not bats flying out a window. It’s so crazy that all of a sudden they want to change major storytelling elements for no reason.

Not to be too real but, a guy jumped off the parking garage at my work as I was going to lunch. Experiencing that is trauma. Seeing a fake skeleton from the 1970s is no more scary than a Halloween decoration.

I love hearing all the guests randomly saying “fresh baked!” In the background! I hope you know how much we all love you and your videos

I have never been offended by the original stretching room set up. It’s part of the rides story. I’m so tired of them changing everything to a vanilla version of its original form.

I don't want them to take away the hanging ghost, but I'm honestly surprised that it hasn't been removed, or at least that we haven't had screams for its removal.

If you remove the hanging ghost, remove the entire ride and building. It's the Haunted Mansion. You could be offended by Madame Leotta, the graveyard, murdering bride, stretching portraits. If it will be offensive to your sensibilities, don't get on the ride. Period.

Get rid of reservation system, genie+ , lightning lane, mobile ordering. Then folks could enjoy the park without constantly being on the phone.

I hope they don’t change the hanging ghost host. Been going to D land for 60 yrs. And any change from original is one step away from Walt’s heart.❤️

The Ghost Host is one of the best parts of the entire ride - that reveal is creepy and awesome. If they think it's "triggering" to anyone, they should just put a warning up on the ride like they do on their earlier insensitive cartoons. I mean, Mr. Toad goes to Hell - are they going to change that too? They need to calm down. Everyone LOVES the Ghost Host.

The reason people are not going to the Disney parks as much is because it's is ridiculously complicated. If you have to watch videos and listen to podcasts to understand HOW TO GO TO A THEME PARK, things have gotten out of hand. Putting together IKEA furniture used to be a joke, now going to a Disney park is the same.

It’s heartening to see the majority of people against the Haunted Mansion change. I think people understand that it’s meant to be taken lightly and that’s what humor is. It’s making light of the dark things in life. It makes it easier to deal with those things when you’re able to do that. Haunted Mansion shouldn’t be touched. They already screwed up with Pirates, which for the same reasons was better left alone. I think everyone here passes the vibe check on this stuff. The strength of HM is taking something has harsh and difficult as death and making light of it in a way that honestly makes the whole idea easier to confront. It’s honestly a masterpiece of an attraction.

I have never made any connection between the hanging body and any other aspect of the ride. I don't look that deep into a ride story. As for negativity, I exercise caution regarding which of my young children I take into the ride or how I shield them from such a shocking concept. The hanging body is such a classic part of the haunt experience. The simple truth is, I need to be responsible, not force DL to bend to my will.

When the parks opened after COVID they didn’t have any lightning lane or genie +. Everyone had to wait in the same line and the wait times were actually really fast. I loved it and wish they would go back to it. We got to ride so many rides that way.

Disney’s recent changes are not about progress or imagination. It’s about pandering to a moment in time in which people are over sensitive and entitled. Disneyland has lasted 70ish years because it strived for timelessness.

My cousin committed suicide and It does always remind me of that but never enough for me to wish that the scene was redone

Leave it alone! Been coming to DL since 1955…HM and Pirates are as they should be…as a matter of fact you could put Pirates back to all the original effects!

Never ever had negative associations with the hanging ghost host. It's the best part of the stretching room! A lot of non-Disney fans think Disney makes all faerie tale retellings super happy and sunshine and rainbows because they've not had enough experience with Disney. Disney can be happy and it can also be dark as hell. Look at the Hunchback of Notre Dame! Darkest cartoon ever and it's glorious to have such depth. The ghost host is dark and it needs to be. Its about balance. Life and death... It's all part of our existence. The Haunted Mansion is the perfect example of dark and light as is.

It’s a HAUNTED house. It’s supposed to be frightening at times.
