Haunted Forest - Ambience (no music) - sounds of a misty creepy forest
Музыка
The Woods of Despair, they called it. The name itself gave me chills, but I decided to go anyway. "It's just a superstition," I was telling myself. It was a direct way to my destination and I didn't want to lose any more time.
I regretted my decision the next morning when I was entering the forest. There was something unsettling about it.

It's the time of the year for some spooky ambience... 👻

Martia: I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀
You are at the right place if you are looking for one of these: ambient music for reading, ambient music for work, ambient music for sleep, ambient music for studying, ambient music for relaxation and ambient music for RPG, background music for studying, background music for reading, background music for working, background music for writing, or background music for DnD.

I like how the bassy wind sounds aren’t too intense, because I find that sometimes they can over power the realistic Forrest sounds and this one doesn’t. It’s very quiet and I don’t feel like I’m watching a horror movie it feels kind of almost realistic to what I’d hear in an actual Forrest. so, well done.

As a chill that runs down spines myself, this is very relaxing
I'm not sure why but I find comfort in creepy ambiences like this. Spooky woods, abandoned house/castle/manor ambiences... They're just somehow oddly relaxing to listen to for me? Although I haven't found a good abandoned house ambience yet, but I'll keep looking. Mostly looking for subtle occasional creaking sounds, maybe some wind coming in through broken windows or something... Maybe some rain as an added bonus? I'm not very fond of thunder though... Idk, I just like to imagine taking a walk when it starts to rain, so you take shelter in an abandoned house you stumble upon. Sorry, I'm rambling. I should go to bed. Goodnight everyone!

Same, its like watching a tornado far in the distance. Theres some kind of excitement and calmness at the same time. I think it has to do with you are in a safe place away from the danger. It kind of reinforces your safety by contrasting it with danger.

That means you are born goth maybe not in clothing or music but inside you are.
I grew up in a region where there was a lot of old-growth forest. There was a particular spot within the forest where very old, gnarled oaks grew with vines spreading through the twisted branches like wicked tendrils. In Autumn, that part of the forest reminded me of the haunted forest in "The Wizard of Oz."
I honestly find scary noises pretty relaxing I caught myself falling in and out of sleep listening
As a wolf for me, this is a perfect place to be. I don’t just like this, I love this. Thanks, dude.

@@MartiasMuses Thanks very much for your welcome. I really appreciate it.
That first voice really got me .. whole track is captivating.
I came up in a place like this, five acres of field and, five acres of hardwood swamp. Broke myself of a fear of the dark chasing treeing walkers through it. There aren't many things that creep, crawl or fly I don't know by name or habit. Spooky as they may be, places like this still and, always will feel like home.
As a goth/darker person let's say this makes me fall asleep and it's relaxing

When I was a teenager, my mother and my mother and I were living in my stepfathers house out in the open country just outside of our hometown and sometimes when the weather was cloudy, rainy and foggy, it would look just like this image of the woods you're seeing.
Gonna use this for a game of Dread. It’s hard to find forest ambience this good. Thanks 😊

"There is something here or it's just my nerves? Nervously, I keep wondering, as my faulty steps echo through the leaves and wind... But alas, I must keep pressing on. According to my map, this shortcut should be mere hours walk to Garland town, instead of whole days around it. I dream of the easier profits on this route, cutting the expenses and time wasted. Locals don't like coming near this place though. Claim it's 'cursed'. Bah! Superstitions nor cowardice isn't what made me what I am today. I have my trustworthy crossbow and a sharp knife ready in the belt, just in case some savage animal crosses my path. Now, this is getting a bit too foggy. Should light a tor" - *Bloody journal of Henry Goldhand, the merchant.* Found recently near a corpse outside of the forest. Body was disembowed. Eyes removed.

We'd been walking for 3 days after leaving town. The rebels had taken a large portion of the southern half of the city, and were wreaking havoc on the people that were foolish enough to stay. There was no chance of our being able to return; pressing forward was the only option. I had been an Atheist all my life, and a militant one at that. But what happened in that forest changed me. I didn't see God. Rather, I saw the opposite of God. I saw evil in that forest and so did everyone in our group. What follows is my account of that evil.

I can tell you are an exceptionally gifted music talent, by the way I am good friends with the father of a young man whoes won several Grammys in the last few years. I didn’t know this when I met them because his father was going through some rough times and was working in all things as a Security night person, I started a conversation because he was listening to music from the Fifties that my mom and dad used to tune to and I thought no one loved that type of music anymore. It led to a respect for me because I thrive on creative unique music. Thank you and I will keep that offer on my mind! Cheers.

MORE⚡️🐺⚡️🐺
Haunted? More like peaceful sleep zone.
What makes a section of woods haunted? What tragedy could befall nature to make it a vector for phantoms? Maybe a plague on trees, leaving a wooden graveyard? Some ancient human battlefield fought with stone weapons, long forgotten by all but the ground still holding those remains? Or something else? There were numerous tiny villages that sprang up in the forests of New England back in the colonial days, many built on the edges of or in the middle of forests. One such place was ominously called "Murder Town" that was apparently inhabited by very bad people who took to killing anyone passing through as a means of robbery, or maybe even just for the thrill of it. This place is long gone now. It's wooden ramshackle buildings returned to dust. But the location certainly still exists; where all those deaths happened. Maybe the spirits of the victims still walk looking for revenge, forever searching for their killers among those trees that grow now on their bones. Historians tend to forget, but nature does not.
It's all fun and games until zombie dobermans show up
