Hauling hay will show you anything will happen. Been there done that, and definitely more to come. But ya gotta love it!

It can be a pain, both when feeding and when baling with it. Big squares haven’t become popular here yet. Thank you so much for the comment!

. Everybody that feeds hay to their livestock bales 5x6 bales.......Our operation is geared around 4x5 rounds......We can haul 42 bales on our step deck

You say about 29,000 net load plus the trailer weighs 11,000 and this is on only 2 axles that are rated for 10,000 each. I wonder why things break. When we haul loads that much, we use a tractor/trailer combo. Glad DOT didn't catch you.

Yes, at the time I thought they were 10k axles.. after taking it to the shop to have it repaired they informed me that they are actually 16k axles.

I have a 40 ft long gooseneck trailer straight deck and I was wondering if my 2013 ford f350 SRW 6.7 can haul that many bales ? The trailer gvwr it’s 25900 and the truck gvwr is 11,500

I’ve seen people do it. I’ve hauled with SRW before. Main thing I like is with dual the trailer doesn’t seem to “whip” the truck as bad. It’s holds the road better if that makes sense. Thanks for watching!

Well… the old goat does pretty good. Helps that it has a 6spd manual with air bags. Although a bigger truck is always welcomed. Lol. Thanks for the comment!

@esh87 yes sir, and the trailer is around 11k. It’s an extremely heavy trailer. It was originally a mini float trailer then we converted it to a gooseneck. Only thing it really needs is a torque tube.

Dam over 30,000lbs, I would love to feel what its like to tow that much ..... did you end up changing just that tires leaf pack

@@esh87 thats correct. The other 3 were fine. Since then I’ve replaced all tires with 16 ply. Now they barely squat when fully loaded.
