really ? Was water hot enough ? That only happen to use with low temp . Gotta be a solid boil . And if it hit brown the pigment in the shirt was to dark might need a fade again , on dead stock takes me three fades to get the look we desire . As said in video . One package is enough to do a shirt three times . Dm us on Instagram I’ll send you another kit to fade those tees again , the green will go grey the brown will go faded black . Blessings and sorry it didn’t turn the way you wanted but let us try and fix it , run them again !

I recently got this in the mail, I got a mix that came in a glass bottle and one in black bag. Which one is the one I use to soak my shirt and which is the one I put into the boiling water? They weren’t labeled as 1 or 2.

@@hauloffades934 is there any more detail as far as water to mixture ratio? Or even what type of water we should use i.e. tap, distilled, etc. I tried this with 3 different black blanks (100% cotton) and it turned them green. Did each one less than a minute and half. Followed through with everything the video said and it didn’t show the results I was hoping for.

tip never buy a front loading machine washer or dryer and stay away from units that do both buy the most basic unit you can find why they are all cheap as possible and the expensive ones have high failure rate and just ant worth the time and money they claim to offer

HAUL OF FADES hell nah lol I hate it when it fades to a brown. How long do you recommend a semi new shirt to be put in the kit for a charcoal black x gray fade ? Also it doesn’t mess up the graphic right ?

  • @mattyice7546

wrong. The color that comes out depends upon the dye of the shirt when it was made. If a brown base dye was used to get the shirt black, then this dye remover will turn it a brown shade. If a blue base dye was used to turn it black, then it will go grey. If u push it to far no matter what dye was used it will then turn to a light beige color way because all the dye would have been stripped at that point.

repackaged rit dye remover pretty much for $50 dollars when you can go and get the same exact thing for 10 bucks. So many people are using this kit and wondering why their shit comes out green or a ugly brown. They wont tell you it depends on the dyes of the shirt.

@@hauloffades934 you got people replying in here saying their shit is coming out green or brown. People expect grey every time. Maybe make it clear, that the dyes used when the shirts are made will detemrine the shade that comes out. It all comes down to the type of dye when the shirt was made. Some black shades are made with brown base, some black shades are made with green base, some black shades are made with blue base. I know my shit. You are essentially stripping the dye off revealing the base color depending on how far you push it. Not rocket science. Rit can do it, and im sure this can to, BUT people expect all their shit to go grey and its unrealistic.

It clearly states that on the packaging and in the video of the kit . Depending on year , or depending on brand , the dye they use determine the out come , some will need to be done up to three times to completely wash out the color . I suggest three times to get it a grey / blue , and the kit comes with enough to do 1 garment 3 times . If you diluted the kit with to much water it will not work as well , if you dump the whole kit and expect some kind of magic trick in one go that’s also your fault , I clearly state , 3 washes , the reason we did it this way is some people want that tint and to not damage the cotton and over power it and ruin the garment . But if you use the kit , and do normal cycles afterwords it will fade faster and faster and continue to fade and save you hundreds / thousands of wash cycles to achieve a natural looking out come , not just a burnt out grey urban outfitters look . Like the shirt in your profile photo . That look is very achievable using bleach , our products use no harmful chemicals . Have a good day , if you’d like to try it , email sales@hauloffades.com and I’ll send you one . Don’t knock things unless you try them .
