it isn't a copy. jojo released the song because at the time karma's a bitch is unreleased. so technically the rights for karma's a bitch went to jojo and her team legally. karma's a bitch is the original unreleased while karma's the original released one. since karma's a bitch is released it's labeled as a cover and not an original.
