They each have their own supervising (main) animator or assigned animating team, I think. Like how Disney used to assign a main animator & junior animators under them to draw each main character back when they did hand-drawn animation (CGI has more steps and required trained specializations, so characters pass thru many hands in animation now). But everyone has their own art style & likewise, animators will have differing ways of interpreting the subtleties of body expression for choreography. And I agree with you, it's more realistic! Not even the most cohesive irl human dance groups can move exactly the same way as each other. Not to mention, even tho the characters are designed to have more-or-less "blank slate" personalities for the song-writing purposes of their tech; their vocal tones do imply a vague sense of personality. So, Miku, with her higher and sharper pitch, naturally dances a bit sharper & peppier than Luka. And Luka, with her soft but full vocal tone, her moves tend to round out & extend more. It matches the personalities implied by their distinct vocal tones. So, the animators were probably keeping that in mind too.

These outfits were already designed a few years ago, they’re from the Project Diva series But yeah they are based off of the designs he used for his PVs

one of the main reasons i liked vocaloid was for the extremely well done animation put into the characters for the concerts and for the music videos/games. Don't get me wrong though, the music is PHENOMENAL but the amount of work put into each character and their outfits is great to. Some of my fav outfits are Luka's and Kaitos from this song and doctor=funk beat

It's called conflict module. It was also introduced in Two-Faced lovers by wowaka ( r.i.p wowaka ) i only saw miku's but i didn't know luka also has conflict module...

@@Lampfinder1619 Actually, Luka's conflict module was made specifically for the concerts and they put it in the games starting with Project DIVA Arcade and Dreamy Theater Extend back in 2012.

As a native speaker I only have one suggestion. (I understand, the effort is really appreciated but) we really need to change the automatic translator. The translation is doing in individual words instead of sentences and is so literal that it technically sounds like you are trying to talk to a caveman in a I/you/ no plural gerund present form without conjugated verbs. Sounds something like: "I Dance End of the World dance Room"
