Got a message late Friday night, looking for trails we haven’t seen b4! I said well, I know of 2. I was 50% on finding said trails, and I definitely took them on the scenic route. Anyways , it was great meeting Chris Guist and his his crew from Ohio. While on a pit stop in the middle of BFE at Ivy Branch, we were nearly arrested for having improper helmets, but the DNR officer let us go with written warnings. Helmets must be either DOT or Snell approved on any Hatfield & McCoy trail. 😒
