I loved those trails. Great scenery all around y'all! The Tressel bridges were freaking AWESOME! Especially from the drone footage. That tunnel is also really cool 😎 Thank you all for putting these GREAT videos out & making them look easy. 😂🤣 🤘Great Job Can Am Crew🤘

I know this is an older video, but yes, that noise was probably F/A-18’s flying a low level. I fly them out of Virginia and we fly low level routes up there all the time. I need to check my logbook, it may have been me haha!

More great footage from "The Crew"...especially the drone footage of the trestles !! If you would have continued around the curve and went past that first trail there is another trail very close to the first one to follow to the trestles that isn't overgrown like the one your group took. We took that trail when we rode to the trestles and had no problems. One hazard we found was there dozens of old spikes on the trail as you approached the trestles where the MOW crews would just toss them off the trestles when they were doing track maintenance. Those spikes could ruin a good set of tires with no problem.

Thank you, I did keep a close eye out for the spikes. I work for a railroad company so I’m pretty familiar with that haha.

I'm headed to HMT next month with a group and this is a spot we definitely want to see, is it possible for you to post the trails you took? Our same group was down last year so we have some basic reference points; Ziggy's, Outlaw Bar, Drinking Tree, etc... but wanting to actually plan our routes this time. Sophia Tunnels and the Dam are on the list as well. appreciate any tips you might have!

@@caddytray While I appreciate the fact that you replied to my comment, it should have been directed to @TheCanAmCrew since this is their channel/video. I'm not willing to cause any trouble with such a great group of people. Hopefully they'll see this reply and answer any questions that you have. Kindest regards !!
We used race across those things or put 2 tires on the rail and see who could stay on the longest.
when you came up to the first trestle if you had followed the train tracks you would have went through three tunnels..... great video I enjoy following you guys on KZread

after the 3rd tunnel you have to turn around because there's another trestle there but a lot of people hang out there you can look down under the trestle and see route 10

Trails to the trestle's are definitely on Lifetime, so I would assume they are on Bob T's also.

They are not on bob ts. That’s what I use. I know lifetime uses bobs maps but not sure why they are ok lifetimes and not bud.

@@TheCanAmCrew I use Lifetime and they are on there. Everyone says Lifetime uses Bob's maps so I just figured they'd be on Bob's. There is a trail east on the tracks (near another tunnel that is impassable) that takes you up and out to the road by the old Blue Convenience Store (pretty sure that's what people call it).

@@banshee8906 I have lifetime but I’ve never actually looked at like to see if those trails are on there. I believe at some point bob removed them for some reason. I’ll have to check that out next time I’m down.

@@TheCanAmCrew Glad you got to visit the trestles. Someone reported to me over the weekend that one of the trails over to trestles now has a gate up. So I’m thinking they’ll gate all of them eventually.

@@TarheelTrailblazer man, that’s a bummer. Unfortunately that seems to be happening more and more.
Great videos and channel. Any chance you could share that route or trail to get to the tunnel? Wife and i are going there in a few weeks.

@@TheCanAmCrew I just ordered the tab a8, and lifetime maps. I’ve since read that bobt is better in WV. Do you have to take the outlaw trails in order to get to the Sophia tunnels?
@TheCanAmCrew

@@toddsarvis4289 lifetime uses bob t maps so you’ll basically have the same maps. Yes. It’s all outlaw trails to Sophia and You’ll also have to take some burning rock trails which your supposed to have a separate permit to ride.
Gonna be there in Logan from the 14-21st. Would you mind showing me around bear wallow and Cabwaylingo? Only really interested in greens and blues though.
