@@erfyw idk much dido music but imogen heap was in a band called frou frou, their album details is fantastic. “Must be dreaming” is a great song from it. She also wrote the song “goodnight and go,” which Ariana Grande covered on her album sweetener. It’s def worth checking out!

Funny thing is…the soundtrack audio in this video could still be touched by autotune. I’m just saying. But I’m a big fan of this girl, and I wouldn’t try to rationalize her with autotune, lol. She’s authentically talented, which you don’t see a whole lot of these days. The way her songs are written- they are insightfully crafted in a manner that presupposes the magical quality of any art.

You're reading it like "My vocals in this video are so good it sounds like autotune as is." But what she's actually saying is probably "Polished songs where I sing with vocal flip are sometimes accused of being autotuned when they may or may not be." If you try to take people's message in a more reasonable way, not turn it into something you can snap at - it could potentially make you more appealing as an acquaintance, or one day maybe even as a distant work friend.
